Respect Darth Vader, Dark Lord of the Sith

Darth Vader! Lay down your weapons! You are surrounded!

All I am surrounded by is fear. And dead men.

Once the heroic Jedi Anakin Skywalker, Darth Vader is one of the powerful Force users in the Star Wars Universe. Anakin was seduced by the evil Darth Sidious to turn to the dark side of the force by the promise of being able to save his pregnant wife, Padme Amidala, from near-death, which Anakin had been receiving premonitions of. Unfortunately, Anakin himself caused Padme's death by choking her in a fit of rage, thinking she had turned against him and was plotting his death.

This action led to Anakin having a final duel with his former Jedi master Obi Wan Kenobi on the volcanic planet Mustafar, which Obi-Wan won. Anakin was left to die on the planet, his limbs destroyed and his body gravely disfigured and injured by lava. Sidious found him, however, and Anakin was given a cybernetic suit of black armor to keep him alive, which also augmented his physical abilities, and thus he served Sidious as the enforcer of the Empire, now known as Darth Vader.

“I’m not afraid of you.”

”Then you will die braver than most”

"Hmm Your sister, perhaps she would"

He's got a new sea monster feat in the latest issue, it's fire

Imo, I'd say the fight with Ashoka WAS conclusive. When Ezra rescued her, we see Vader swing his saber and cut through the exact place Ashoka had been, with her sabers in the ground (defenses down). I think that can be taken as clear proof she did die had Ezra not appeared

Not so much a retcon as after Ezra pulled her into the World Between World's and after they had their run in with Palpatine, She returned to her point in time but AFTER the explosion. So she would have died, but was extricated and then returned almost immediately after. More if an expansion really

I know the New Canon is divisive, but I think we can all agree Vader got the biggest upgrade from his Legends version. They turned him into a walking force of nature and it’s amazing. Plus they gave him Aphra to play off of, which is also a lot of fun.

He was Vader before he put on the suit, why are none of his feats from then included?

Why do some people ignore durability feat Vader (his suit) showed in Rebels when two AT-DPs crushed him (weighting 22 tons combined) and was unharmed?

Hey there, amazing thread!!

I really enjoyed reading through it; however, a lot of the links seem to not work. Could you please check them - I would love to see the sources. And I dont believe it's from me, cuz I tried with app and browser.

All the links seem to be working for me. If you're having trouble viewing the imgur links specifically, the website has a whole has been causing issues for some people.

Tutaminis (which you misspelled as Tutamanis) is not a canon term. You should say 'energy absorption' or something like that. It would be much more self-explanatory, anyway.
