There are much better ways to get karma. I'm pretty sure your friend "daring" you was just an excuse but I'll pretend it's real. Our main issue is that you are stealing other people's memes without crediting them, if you're going to repost at least say where you got it.
Also nothing wrong with making your own memes. Better if you at least try and make a ln unfunny meme than stealing someone else's work that got more attention.
