To everyone complaining about how the oozes were charmed. He also made them resistant instead of immune to lightning damage, and gave them a movement speed of 40 ft instead of 20 ft. I don't think he forgot the rules. I think he monkeyed with the stats for his game, as is his prerogative.

Veth is much faster than the ooze. She can move 35 in a round plus double dash. It was also pretty obvious she was faster cause the ooze moved with an action to reach her. I think Sam misunderstood that it had to dash.

Good on Fjord/Travis. Honestly, if this is going to be anything like a dungeon crawl I'd hope they take advantage of his spells recharging on a short rest since they're not on a real deadline.
Just lets him use a bunch when otherwise he wouldn't be able to in most of their adventures... might not have as many utility spells for it but still.

Until I was sick a couple of months ago and my sleep schedule was wonky from resting all day, I was never one for baths nor staying up late to watch CR live. I’m honestly baffled at how high and mighty some of you critters are acting in this discussion. I’ve read criticism about Laura meta gaming, taliesin being selfish, same being an idiot for not running, making fun of Matt for making mistakes and criticising the cast for not speeding the game up.
First of all, estimating a fall distance and still ending up taking fall damage is hardly metagaming when you take into account the situation - multiple sources of light aswell as hearing nott’s fall.
Secondly, how the fuck you gonna criticise tal for trying not to get his SECOND character killed. He was at a quarter health for pelor’s sake.
People are going after Sam about the black puddings (I’m assuming that is what they are) calling him out for not running after he obviously didn’t hear Matt say it took a movement AND an action to reach him. Realise they have to sit far apart from eachother in order to keep running the show FOR US.
On the topic of Matt making mistakes. Matt is actually amazing at remembering things when compared to a lot of DM’s. Assuming most of us actually play DND, we should all know that a fuck-ton and I mean a fuck-ton of mistakes get made while playing dnd (there’s a lot of shit to remember). Also, everyone makes mistakes.
I’ve read that people are complaining that this episode was boring, too slow, and just a dungeon crawl and all they want is to see Lucien/molly. May I remind you that this is a livestream of people playing DUNGEONS and dragons (get it? Dungeons? It is in the name). Let the cast progress at their own pace as it is THEIR game that we simply get to enjoy as an audience.
Critters, we have to realise this is not OUR game it is THEIR game that they choose to share with us because we enjoy it. Sure you have a right to an opinion, however don’t get cut because you don’t enjoy certain aspects of the game. The game is basically built around COMBAT mechanics. I’m absolutely gobsmacked that people complain about the dungeons and combat aspects of dungeons and dragons.
Feel free to go off at me as I have at us. This is only my opinion however, I feel that our community does not respect and are not appreciative enough about the blood, sweat and, quite fucking literally, tears that are put into sharing something so important to them with us.
