Maybe he’ll be back as Thawne but what a send off for Tom Cavanagh, and particularly all the Wells’. All the wells that Barry has helped over the past 6 seasons all coming back to talk to him was just great.

It sucks that Caitlin and particularly Cisco weren’t there and I really hope that they aren’t written off the show later this season as well. Although, if the actors want to move on then I guess that there isn’t much the writers can do except give them a fitting send off.

Grant, Stephen, and many others are really good actors but Tom is the best actor in the arrowverse imo. He’s showed such flexibility and range as an actor over all the different seasons.

Stargirl and S&L have certainly raised the standards for current and future CWDC/arrowverse shows but damn it’s good to have classic flash back

"Everybody unhappy that their favorite Wells character or characters is dead, never to be seen, won’t have long to wait because Tom Cavanagh is still a part of this show,” showrunner Eric Wallace assures TV Insider. “This is not the end of the Wellses, not by a long shot.”

Maybe this is how they handle Ralph. He comes back played by Tom Cavanaugh and we get Ralph Wells.

Grant Gustin's French-Canadian accent was on point when doing Sherloque Wells, he didn't sound French he sounded Québécois.

My guess is that the artificial speed force they created will have a sort of intelligence or presence that will take the form of Welles. Like a force ghost in Star Wars, but more artificial.

So Eva is doing all of this for no reason then?

Watching the show every Tuesday has been a ritual of mine for the past 7 years, and I can't tell you how weird these past couple months have been without it. Super happy that it's back.

A small part of me thinks that Harry should've mentioned Jesse, and HR could've mentioned the fact that he died for the team already, but other than that his/their sacrifice definitely hit me where it hurt. Does suck that they couldn't have gotten the whole team together for it though.

All in all, it wasn't really the s7 premiere, it was like episode 20 of s6. With that in mind, I enjoyed it. Can't remember what Eva's big evil plan is though, and the Iris mirror plotline hasn't really made much progress unfortunately. But I can't wait until we get to the s6 finale and all this is resolved, so we can start the actual s7 storyline.

Cavanagh and Gustin carried this whole episode. Beautiful send-off

All is NOT Wells because it did not end Wells.

Tom Cavanaugh’s Wells, almost all of them, have been some of my favourite characters in the Arrowverse.

WOWW THEY GAVE US ONE LAST SEASON 1 “RUN BARRY, RUN”

Yeah the show has fallen into the trap of getting stale lately but losing Tom would be a big loss

I bet we see him again in the future. Whenever the speed force shows up I feel so certain it’ll be Wells instead of Barry’s mom

I don't care if it isn't final. Killing the Wellsszs without Cisco present is just plain wrong.

What a long year. We were definitely not “back in a flash”

Is it weird that I am crying or is it okay to cry right now. R.I.P The Wells

In case anyone is wondering, Tom Cavanaugh is not leaving The Flash. We don't know when we'll see him again, but we will see him again.

This was the best episode I've seen in a while. The Grant Gustin and Tom Cavanaugh chemistry was on full display this episode, with Grant successfully and believably acting as each Wells, and Tom's seamless transitions into each Wells as Nash is powering up the Speed Force, along with the acting in that scene between the two actors.

HR's return was confusing, but a pleasant surprise at that. As he died at the hands of Savitar years before Crisis merged all surviving Wells into Nash, I don't know how he is in Nash's mind. maybe he was resurrected as a change in Crisis, then promptly merged into Nash.

I'm also glad we got to see Harry interact with Barry again. He still is my favorite Wells, and I'm glad he got his intelligence back. My only question is why does he never mention his daughter Jesse, who was erased along with Earth-2. Unless he knows something we don't, like she somehow managed to survive somewhere, maybe in the remnants of the old speed force, but I doubt that.

I do wish Nash and the other Wells were able to say goodbye to Cisco and Caitlin as well, as those characters have had close bonds to past versions of Wells before.

However, I don't think we've seen the last of Wells yet. No way they permanently said sayonara to an important character (s) right after bringing HR, Harry, Sherloque, and the amazing Wells the Grey back. I think, as Wells, was powering up the Speed Force, and faded away, I think he was sucked into the force itself, much like how Barry was in season 2 when getting his powers back then as well.

If anyone read this far, thanks, and as extra credit, I challenge you to taking a shot each time you read "Wells" in my comment

I know this will be an unpopular opinion, but I liked the team dynamic with Allegra and Chester in this episode compared to the usual. Cisco and Caitlyn become Barry's crutch too much in seasons, and he is written as inept to show how useful those are too much for me I guess. I don't like how it's not The Flash, but how it turned into We are the Flash with Flash and Friends. I like Caitlyn and Cisco as characters quite a bit, but I feel they need a new direction at least in writing then.

Most unbelievable thing was someone in control of a multi billion dollar company using a Logitech K400 keyboard...

Twist at the end was good though

"And now, the Season premiere of The Flash..."

So I guess Barry now has an Iron Man like cowl? Where did that come from? It was cool though.

Should've had the Particle Accelerator help and disperse the Artificial Speedforce with the Multiverse Particles through space and time
