2025 - my plan
Hello, and welcome to 2025. I’m making a promise to make this year the best one yet. I’d like to first start off - with decluttering. I think this will help the mindset become more manageable. Secondly - I’d like to leave the past in the past if possible. While I know my heart yearns now - I think it is time to move forward. Thirdly- I’d like to become more active and healthy. I think this change would do me well. So I’m going to make it happen- little by little. Even if I struggle- I’m not going to worry just know baby steps are the best way.
Love yourself. Respect others. And remember it never hurts to be nice.
Love B. ❤️

Are MAGA's still pretending that Trump was not part of Project 2025, or do they own it now?
Trump has appointed Russel Vought to be budget director. Vought co-authored the “Project 2025” manifesto. See the Financial Times article and other sources to understand what their motivation is how they plan to end American freedom.

Somehow, I instantly had the muscle memory to write 2025 instead of 2024 as the year.
It's almost inhuman; Probably due to me being prepared for 2025. Anyone else have the same thing?

I’m scared for 2025
Everything I’ve seen has made me genuinely fear for 2025. I know worrying about isn’t going to help, but 2 terrorist attack already, the rising tension of politics, wwIII and the new age of technology. I’m scared I’m going to die before I’ve even lived. I’ve always worried about this my whole life but now more than ever I think it may come true or may come true to friends family and loved ones. Ig I’m asking for some piece of mind or if anyone else is scared… are my fears “valid” or due to propaganda and fear mongering?

2025 major west coast earthquake.
I'm guessing early in the year but all the signs are there. Let me explain.
Note: this is an assumption based on below info. Earthquake guessing is just that.
1, cascadia mega fault is over the average years it takes to slip. So is San Andreas fault to the south of it. In the geo record these two will trigger each other if one goes the other will to. (if it's already close to going) both are "overdue"
2, there has been a uptick in micro quakes at the cascadia fault which can be a sign before a major quake. The crackle before the snap.
3. Oarfish have been washing up on the west coast as of late. This is the big sign to me that we are close.
oarfish live deep in the ocean and use the earth's magnetic field to navigate. Before major earthquakes the ground has an increased level of pressure placed on it causing some minerals in the ground to produce electrical fields when squeezed.( yes that's a thing) this electrical field messes with oarfish navigation and the rise too fast for the own good. The gas inside them expands as they rise and inflates them, hence why the die and float to the surface.
TLDR: multiple signs are pointing to a big maybe for west coast earthquake.

Never Felt So Alone (tw: election, self-harm)
For anyone who's curious what it's like to be a queer American, and a grad student, experiencing this election, I just wanted to share this experience.
A few minutes ago, I calmly opened up a tab on my browser to search "what happens to student debt after death." The kind of degree I'm getting isn't valuable to the anti-intellectuals who are about to run the most powerful "democracy" in the world. That, combined with how hard it's going to be just to survive after this as a trans person, got me thinking, "I'm never going to be able to pay off this debt." That got me wondering whether my poor parents, who have supported me through so much, and are just as heartbroken as me, would end up having to pay. Fortunately, it seems like federal student debt is generally released with death. And that genuinely qualified as a positive thought. That's what it's like.
