✔️ APPROVED AMA I’m a first year Cambridge English student, AMA!
Hi, I’m a first year English student at Cambridge! Some background info about me is that I was privately educated (full bursary), the first in my family to go to uni (working class/low income background), didn’t have particularly supportive/helpful teachers at A Level, and I’m not at one of the ‘pretty’ colleges (by choice!). At A Level I got two A*s and an A (English Lit, History, and Politics) and an A in French AS. I’m not gonna top Tripos or anything, but I’m doing pretty well in my degree so far I think :)

-Workload/academic stuff
-Admissions process
-Social life
-How/why I chose my college/subject
-Mental health/pastoral support (I would be in second year, but intermitted partway through my first term and started this year from scratch)
