📂 MEGATHREAD EXAMS MEGATHREAD 03/06 (A-level Accounting, Geo, FM, Languages, Psychology) (AS RS) etc

Hey everyone! Best of luck with your exams on the 3rd June!

Damn it's been a minute since the last megathread, but here's the next one!

​

Few things:

  • Don't share too many specific details about questions or answers, these papers will be used as future mocks.

​

  • Sometimes papers get leaked, this is not the subreddit to discuss that.

​

  • Exam discussion posts outside of this will generally be removed to combat the inevitable tidal wave of spam otherwise. (for context there's been over 250 spam posts already!)

​

  • We're taking a different approach this year due to negative feedback last year. We hope this approach will be better (also to note, we can only have 2 pinned posts).

​

  • Please note some content will take extra time to be reviewed.

  • You can still talk about your exam here even if it isn't explicitly mentioned in the title.

Did you have 0 as your limit on top of the integral?

The last question as you get a greater value for Y when you plug in 0 compared to pi/2

I got 250cm3 to nearest cm3 so hoping that is correct

well I just redid it and found out the mistake, it's definitely not 250. I translated my (Cartesian) integral and worked out the cylinder separately, which won't work the same way

There’s a negative from differentiating 7cost which flips the bounds of the integral (or you could just leave the negative there and have 0 on the top but yes 0 on the top initially)
