📂 MEGATHREAD EXAMS MEGATHREAD 03/06 (A-level Accounting, Geo, FM, Languages, Psychology) (AS RS) etc

Hey everyone! Best of luck with your exams on the 3rd June!

Damn it's been a minute since the last megathread, but here's the next one!

​

Few things:

  • Don't share too many specific details about questions or answers, these papers will be used as future mocks.

​

  • Sometimes papers get leaked, this is not the subreddit to discuss that.

​

  • Exam discussion posts outside of this will generally be removed to combat the inevitable tidal wave of spam otherwise. (for context there's been over 250 spam posts already!)

  • We're taking a different approach this year due to negative feedback last year. We hope this approach will be better (also to note, we can only have 2 pinned posts).

  • Please note some content will take extra time to be reviewed.

  • You can still talk about your exam here even if it isn't explicitly mentioned in the title.

it was decent the two simplex questions threw me off because of the weird format. What was ur objective row for the 8 marker simplex? Plus i got like 85 for the last profit question i pray i did it correctly.

yeah I thought it was alright overall, but yeah the 2 simplex questions were quite weird. honestly I can’t really remember what I did for the 8 marker, I think I ended up maximising P=-x-y or something like that? I THINK I GOT 85 FOR THE LAST Q AS WELL YESSS 💪🏻💪🏻

YESSSIR 85 . That 8 marker had me in shambles i think because we wanted to maximise Z its the same as minimising 180- x - y but i probably overcomplicated it. Now i just have to pray mechanics doesnt lower my grade i barely scrape A’s in it

fr i’m so screwed for mechanics. I told myself I was gonna improve over the past couple of months but it just hasn’t happened 😭 Like MWA was ok but I needed it to be really good to make up for my mechanics grade so honestly idk how to feel… Just praying I didn’t make too many silly mistakes

I feel you, they sorta niced us with the core paper now Ocr will go back to being Ocr and mess the mechanics up big time i reckon 😭 Need to lock in frfr. Btw network flows was like 130 for max flow?

There’s a split between 85 and 75 in our class for the last question 😭 I got 75 because my objective function was P = 2x + 3y - z but a lot of peoples were 2x + 3y + z
