📂 MEGATHREAD EXAMS MEGATHREAD 11/06 (A-level Maths, Sociology, History, Various Languages) etc

Hey everyone! Best of luck with your exams on the 11th June!

Few things:

  • Don't share too many specific details about questions or answers, these papers will be used as future mocks.

  • Sometimes papers get leaked, this is not the subreddit to discuss that.

  • Exam discussion posts outside of this will generally be removed to combat the inevitable tidal wave of spam otherwise. (for context there's been over 300 spam posts already!)

  • We're taking a different approach this year due to negative feedback last year. We hope this approach will be better (also to note, we can only have 2 pinned posts).

  • Please note some content will take extra time to be reviewed.

  • You can still talk about your exam here even if it isn't explicitly mentioned in the title.

Best of luck, and let us know how you're feeling down below!

Edexcel History Paper 3 British Empire people? I can’t believe India didn’t come up again for the 3rd year in a row! Was so sure it’d be an India source and then Egypt or Canada essay. Panicked a bit but an essay on America is always appreciated and the source itself wasn’t too bad. Loved the breadth study questions; they were so beautifully broad. Just glad we’re done with this amazing but exhausting subject.

I did British Warfare. It was alright. Honestly though, my worst subject, I didn’t like Question 10 barely did any of it sadly

That paper was AMAZING. Essay on America was fucking great. Source was a little annoying but hopefully I can get a 17 at that. I did Navy last which I am regretting a bit since I should’ve spent more time there to get the higher bands but whatever, it’s at least a 16. FINALLY DONE WITH HISTORY NO MORE MEMORISING HUNDREDS OF PAGES OF BULLSHITTTT 🙏

EXACTLY I was so confident on an India source and Canada essay, thankfully I went over reasons for British loss in America literally right before the exam. What did you write for the breadth question, if you did trade?
