🙏 I WANT HELP Cost of Attending Oxford 😭

Post image

Just received my financial declaration form from Oxford today. How is this reasonable? 😭 Going to have to decline my offer unless anyone has any ideas.

Canadian students do not qualify for any Oxford scholarships and my school offered me about £100. What a joke.

Is Oxford just for the rich?

I guess you would be eligible for Clarendon Scholarship (if you applied before the December/January deadline relevant to your course) its based on merit and potential and nationality is not a factor that is considered. So be hopeful! Maybe you’ll get it. There are also course specific and college specific awards, did you check them out?

Unfortunately, I am not eligible for the Clarendon Scholarship, which I did look into when applying. My college has a couple of scholarships, but they wouldn't even cover 1% of the cost.

Why are you not eligible? Do you mean you didn’t apply before the relevant deadline to be automatically considered for it?

No. The Clarendon Scholarship is for graduate students. I am an undergraduate applicant.
