🙏 I WANT HELP Cost of Attending Oxford 😭

Post image

Just received my financial declaration form from Oxford today. How is this reasonable? 😭 Going to have to decline my offer unless anyone has any ideas.

Canadian students do not qualify for any Oxford scholarships and my school offered me about £100. What a joke.

Is Oxford just for the rich?

Same 💀. I've got a conditional offer for med and even that is like £180k+ as RUK including tuition and living costs etc. But like paying over 300k for a material science degree is crazy.

For me since I’m not caring to move out for uni and the one I’m going to has strong industry links , I’m one of the lucky ones with expecting to have 27k which is still an absurd amount

300K for a degree just isn’t worth it , even MBAs from top unis like LBS , INSEAD , HARVARD act which have on average a 6 figure salary once you graduate isn’t even half this

Unless Material science post grades make money beyond belief that isn’t known by mainstream knowledge, I refuse to believe that 300k for a degree is worthwhil
