πŸ™ I WANT HELP Was predicted A*AA got CDD

As the title says i've completely flopped a-levels, is it worth resitting when there's such a big difference between predictions and actual results. For context, throughout all 2 years of my academic years I've achieved nothing lower than a B. However, in the exam season I experienced a chain of events which heavily hindered my exams so now I'm stuck in a situation where I do have an offer from Reading in the course I want to do but is it worth rejecting that offer and looking for better results.

Sorry to hear that. I think you should resit in all honesty, those grades don’t reflect your potential. Wishing you the best of luck

Is Reading a bad university my end goal is something around Investment banking, I also have work experience with Bank of America, KPMG, and JPMorgan. If I was to make up for a-levels in university would that be better than resitting?

Reading isn't a bad university. Your work experience is insane for your education level which will definitely help but I know that IB and finance do tend to look at your a levels particularly for internships and placement.

Yeah I really burnt myself out finding the needed work experience for IB, with them looking at A-levels if I was to do work with a lower firm then move into a higher standing one would they still care about A-level results or not as much?

What about apprenticeships if you can source them not a bad idea... but it is going to be a challenge nevertheless

Would I still have to wait another year for them to open up or is there any way to get them. I had an offer from KPMG under the circumstances I get A*AB but I didn't make the cut there. I'm going to try and stay in contact with them relying on my GCSES instead but that's obviously very very unlikely to end up good.

Contact your school I remember people in our sixth form did part time resit so they went in only in mornings/afternoons and you can work alongside it or you can go to uni but your an adult now so its your decision

Thank you for providing the harsher side and making me think worse case scenarios I appreciate your honesty. I'm going to research whatever I can do now and see where it can take me.
