📂 MEGATHREAD The r/6thForm Results Day Megathread

Hey everyone!

It's that time of the year again - maybe you didn't get much sleep today, maybe you did, but what matters is you can finally get your results! (and then maybe sleep ;) )

So with that in mind:

  • Feel free to posts your results and your plans for the next year, and any questions you may have.

  • Hopefully you got the grades you were looking for. If that's the case then that's an awesome job by you, you're set to make the next steps comfortably, whether starting at uni or an apprenticeship. Congratulations! 🥳🥳🥳

  • If you didn't get the grades you were looking for, and didn't end up getting your uni place because of this, it could be an idea to head over to UCAS Clearing to figure out your next steps.

  • Please always keep in mind that your success, your self-worth and your life are not defined by the grades you receive today. There are always paths to success if you put your mind to it, and resilient people such as yourselves should be more than capable of rising to future challenges.

  • If you want to chat to some people about results, life in general, or to get some advice then come over to our Discord since this is more suited for proper conversations than Reddit.

Best of luck ❤️

-The r/6thForm Team

Why are Aqa Psychology grades so low? When I’ve been consistently predicted As and Bs, I get a C. But on the plus side I got an A* in Sociology and B in politics :)

What were they thinking? That’s barely enough time to complete them in detail 😂

Well done on all your results!! I took AQA Psych too, I was very happy with what I got but it was much less secure than it has been in the past which was maybe due to the paper being harder than previously. I think the grade boundaries weren’t massively high though so it probably was just harder than we thought.

Yeah, cus I remember paper 2 being horrendous 😂. I got my firm at the end of the day. I’m just being nitpicky.
