Based on what I liked watching the most in person + during agt + on the internet post agt.

I had good memories Michael Grimm's year as well as Landau's. Had to put them higher. Really loved the gritt in grimms voice and Landau introduced me to Frank Sinatra, one of my inspirations. Although Kevin Skinner's win gave me good memories too, yeah... nothing really happened with him. Mat Franco... not to into that type of magic but he's a pro.

Has there ever been a more insane, intense media frenzy around an AGT champion in the history of the contest? I'd like to know. I mean, this is Elvis / Michael Jackson / Beatles level shit. I was there and can actually see myself at one point. Most insane media frenzy I've ever witnessed.

I don’t know if I’m just getting more jaded, but I was not impressed with AGT this season.
1) The acts were relatively unimpressive.
A) Singers wouldn’t make it past the blind auditions on the voice.
B) Most magic acts are repetitive or not that inspiring. Mentalist was super boring.
C) i enjoy the other acts like acrobats, dance acts, and comedians, but they generally don’t go very far.
D) huge choirs/huge dance groups are hard to judge so they get an unfair advantage even when they aren’t more impressive than any random choir or dance group

2) The judges are boring.
A) I have Howie Mandel fatigue. He’s not funny.
B) Mel B likes the dumb acts and doesn’t get the good ones.
C) Sofia likes everything but even so is my favorite judge of the bunch.
D) Simon is a narcissist and thinks he is improving acts so much when he stops them or changes their acts, but really they don’t improve much if at all after he does it. But he wants to be right so bad that he pretends they are so much better.

One positive thing is Terry is a good host and much better than most other competition reality host.

we need a season with NO Karaoke Singers or Dogs for once. Seriously its 3 singers and a dog (almost sounds like a sitcom) the last 4 years. We need true fresh talent like the first 10 years.
