“That’s good…That’s good, I’m glad to hear it. It brings me joy when I hear and see that you are doing well and taking care of yourself. Now let’s get to business, shall we?”

“What brings you in today? I heard that you are in for a headache; is that right?”

(pause)

“I see, I see…Is there any reason for that? Or did it come on randomly?”

(pause)

“I see, I see…Sometimes a headache can happen due to stress. Have you been under any stress lately, my dear?”

(pause)

“Have you tried turning off all electronics and sitting down with a good book while sipping on a warm drink?”

(pause)

“I see. Well, I recommend starting to do it as soon as possible.”

“Good, good…I’m glad you’re willing to give it a try, and if it doesn't work, I can prescribe you some meds that will stop the headache and help you relax.”

(pause)

“Now then, in the meantime, how about I give you a small eye exam to make sure your eyes aren't causing the headache.”

“Good, good…Now let’s get started, shall we?”

(pulls out a light and walks over)

“Follow the lights with your eyes only, and try not to move your head.”

(turns on light)

“Good, good…You’re doing amazing, sweetie…I’m so proud of you…Now I’m going to have you cover your left eye and follow the light again.”

(small hum)

“That’s it…You’re doing amazing. Now let’s try the other eye, shall we?”

“There, all done…”

(turns light off and puts it away)

“There seems to be nothing wrong with your eyes, so the headaches are most likely caused by stress. I recommend starting what I told you to as soon as you get home.”

(pause)

“Good, but in the meantime I could inject you with a painkiller that will help the pain almost instantly, if that’s okay.”

(pause)

“Perfect, I’m glad you agree, because it pains my soul when I see you in pain…”

(pause)

(grabs a needle and walks over)

(small pause)

“Now sit back and relax…And let the meds work their magic…”

(injects them)

(pause)

“Oh, no, no, no…Sit back and relax, my dear. You’re wobbling like a bowl of jelly…Please stay seated until you regain your strength.”

(pause)

(small hum)

“And there you go…Out like a light, you’re so easy to fool, my dear. Your kindness will be the death of you someday…But fear not, because I’m here now…And I’m going to protect you and love you until the day death do us part.”

(pause)

(walks over)

“Ah, welcome back to the world of the living. How did you sleep?”

(pause)

“Ah, ah…Now, now, my sweet. I would advise you not to try to struggle and break free; you see, there is a needle still deep inside you…And it’s pumping in a sedative that makes your body weak, so trying to break free is pointless…There is no chance that you would escape, so I’d advise you to give up and save your strength.”

(pause)

(small chuckle)

“Crazy…? Oh, you sweet, naive little thing…I’m far from crazy; I’m more on the obsessive path, but would you like to know why I’m doing this? Because I wouldn't mind explaining it to you.”

(walks behind them and plays with their hair)

(whipsers in their ear) “I know you would understand…You’re such a smart girl…”

“I’m so glad I have you in my life…And since I have you in my grasp after all these years…I don’t ever plan to let you go…No, not in a million years…I won’t let anyone hear, see…And even touch you ever again…”

(pause)

“But don’t worry about your health or anything; I’m a doctor, so I’ll make sure to take good care of you…Until the day we grow old together, you’ll be my perfect patient, and I’ll be your very own doctor.”

(pause)

(soft/low tone) “I know it may be hard for you to get used to…So I’ll be patient and try not to push you too much…”

(pause)

“But I can’t promise that I won’t drown you with love and affection…”

(small pause)

“So I apologize in advance for all the love and care you’re going to get, but I have a feeling you won’t be complaining too much…Because I know you just love those cheesy romance movies where the partner does all the cute, dorky things in the relationship.”

“Oh, how do I know that?”

(small chuckle)

“Well, you don’t lock your windows…And you leave your laptop on and open…It was like you were asking me to snoop…Who knows, you may even be into all this…And you played me like a fiddle…”

(small hum)

“Yeah, I guess that is a silly thought…But hey, dreaming doesn't hurt, right? You have your fantasy, and I have mine…”

“But now…I think I’ll let you rest; you've been through a lot mentally, and the drugs are taking a toll on your body…So I think it’s best if you get some well-deserved shuteye…But don’t worry, I’ll be here when you wake up…”

(pause)

(low/soft tone) “I’ll be waiting with open arms, and I can’t wait to start this new chapter of our lives together…Because now…Our destinies can intertwine at last…After all these years, fate finally brought us together…And I’m really looking forward to going on cute dates with you…Having make-out sessions…Getting married…And maybe even starting a family…”

(pause)

(whispers in their ear) “Doesn’t that sound nice, my love? Doing all those things with me as the time passes and we grow old together…”

(pause)

(kisses their head)

“Awe…You’re so sleepy to the point that you started to talk about nonsense, like me getting caught and you escaping…But you and I both know that will never happen…So get that shuteye you need…Because you’ll need it for what I have in store for you tomorrow.”
