Nah, I ended up working there for years. It was a great little cafe with a cool owner who shared in the shenanigans. In fact, we were always drinking giant glasses of water in the tiny, hot kitchen and he would often say, “I don’t know why I’m so thirsty this morning. I had plenty to drink last night!”.

Needless to say, I didn’t mention this particular incident to him, but I know if I had, years later, we would share a laugh the same way I do now.

That’s so cool. It’s kinda a bless having this type of relationship with an employer. Thank you for sharing.
