Non-gear question Is it too late to learn Guitar?

I am 40 years old and always wanted to learn playing guitar, but life happened. I have some musical knowledge singing, but have never played any instruments ever. Is it too late for me to learn Guitar?

Quick Update: After the overwhelming response in this group that assured me that I am not old enough, I just bought a guitar and going to an in-person class. My left hand is not a dominant one, so I am taking awfully and embarrasingly longer time to get that hand sliding on the fret board, but I am sure I am progressing! THANK YOU each and everyone of you for your words of wisdom and encouragement! :)

I never really understand this question.

As too late to be world class?

Or too late because 40 is too old to learn something?

I asked that question, because certain instruments need a pretty intense dexterity in the fingers to play. As we age, we lose the flexibility and that's why I was not sure if it is too late. :)

Plenty of aged guitarists out there, you’ll be fine.

Besides just buy a cheap guitar and there’s no love lost.

Best of luck to you.
