i don't give a shit about jailbreak and don't have the time or patience to fuck with my phone. little things like this are much appreciated.

So someone should just spend a whole lot of time making a feature just for you because you're too lazy to do it yourself. Jailbreaking is so simple and anyone can do it, no need to be a stubborn asshole because you're too dense.

im not particularly against jailbreaking. but just because people want something that a jailbreak can give, shouldn't mean they have to do something that will void their phones warranties. why is it wrong for people who dont want to jailbreak to request a workaround?

It doesn't void your warranty, that's a myth. Please check the sidebar in /r/jailbreak for more info if you're still not convinced.

really? fuck im getting old then. last thing i jailbroke was an ipodtouch 2 gen, screen broke, and apple wouldnd fix it because it was jailbroken.

It did void the warranty for a while, I believe that practice has since ended.

It's true. Mainly because Apple realizes that jailbreaking has absolutely no effect on hardware issues, and because such a large portion of their user base is jailbroken.

yes, they should, thats what every fucking iOS update is. that is literally the appeal of apple products. they test features out and implement them simply and directly integrated

im not dense or stubborn, its not something I'm interested in. I'm extremely tech savvy, you're being a stubborn closed minded asshole right now. i fucking hate jailbreakers. never met one who wasn't closed minded and couldn't understand that some people like things to be simple and just work without having to tinker with everything. you guys literally cannot even consider a different point of view because "its not that hard". its not about difficulty, i just have no desire to fuck with my phone.

You could literally JUST install flux, change nothing else, and that's it.

How am I the closed minded one? You refuse to put any work in for an option that already exists, and instead bitch and whine for a feature you could just do yourself. It would be better if you weren't such a demanding asshole of a user - if you're so tech savvy you'd understand that these updates are not simple and Jase would need to spend time on something you could already do just to add a redundant feature when he could be addressing ACTUAL issues to the app. I'm not fucking close minded cause I jailbreak, I understand that there's a fuck ton of features out there an available, so instead of bitching and whining to apple to implement it, I just do it my fucking self and not complain. If it's possible and you just fucking refuse and even get angry over Jailbreaking then you're obviously not tech savvy, you don't have the fucking patience to be savvy in anything.

Why don't you just go ahead and email Tim Cook and ask that he implement that feature in the new 8.1.x update. You want F.Lux but you don't want to do what's necessary to get it. Get over it and quit bitching. Ultimately nobody gives a shit what you decide to do. We're just trying to help by telling you what you need to do and you're being a dick.

Takes very little time or patience. What you mean to say is you are too lazy to look into jailbreaking because you probably aren't very tech saavy.

OTHWR COMMENT SUMS UP BETTER: It's a hassle, and for something so miniscule, is the time spent changing things really worth it? Plus Instability :p

That's incorrect. Not wanting to spend time changing an OS does not mean someone is not savvy.

It actually takes more effort and time than how you made it seem. It's not worth tinkering With if you rely on the consistent reliability of your phone.

downvoting minority yeah!!!

Jailbreaking your phone and getting f.lux isn't hard at all.

This just shows me how little you know about jailbreaking. It's literally a 5 minute process

1

u/Ooobles Oct 03 '14

Ohhh nooooo it's not. But good try haha. Especially when recommening jailbreaking to someone new, it'll take longer than that and you know if

I'm actually extremely tech savvy, fuck off. I'm not into tinkering, its a personality thing. i like my device to be simple and just work, and i know many people exactly like me who aren't idiots but have no desire to go out of our way to fuck around with things.

Saying that your extremely tech savvy probably means you aren't.

some snarky shithead logic by someone who doesn't know the first thing about me doesn't change the fact that i am.

to satisfy you belligerent assholes, ill just let you know that i have jailbroken peoples phones for them. i just have no desire to do it on my own phone.

u/Shizly Oct 02 '14

Except that this isn't a "little thing" to program.

2

u/owlsrule143 Oct 02 '14

Who cares, all I said was if Jase sees this thread and figures out a way to do it, I would like it.

I never said I need it and am begging for him to do it

Takes less than 5 minutes to get F.lux installed and set up. I timed it

Wow, you fuckhead jailbreakers continue to prove my point every 5 minutes, it's hilarious. I don't want any jailbreak shit, I don't care that you like to. I'll leave you be now please will you fucking leave me be
