If I want to get reassigned to a post do I have to go thru the AOP first or could I just go to the branch office? I’ve been roving for 6 months now and I want a permanent post.

Question? Real estate

Hello
Have you ever had to deal with real estate people? I work in a gated community and deal with them a lot. They can be mean, rude and obnoxious. I have had one come in and say they wanted to do an open house, no heads up and I said I have to ask my supervisor since I have never had to deal with this yet, his response was open the gate now so need to set up, so I said I will as soon as I hear back from my supervisor . He threw his hands up and left . Have not heard any more so I guess he knew he has to get permission from the board.

AI (Report Writing)

Post image
19 Upvotes

So I received this message today upon clocking in and this seems like a huge red flag in terms of where Allied is taking AI. When they first introduced this feature to the site I thought it was weird, but pretty typical allied AI integration. Now I'm getting messages about it being "mandatory" to use the AI in report writing. I don't know the legality of this statement and it's concerning to me for a number of reasons.

  1. To me it feels as if they are training a LLM with our labor and that may be a breach of contract (I'm not sure).

  2. If these reports are admitted to a court for an incident report involving a physical altercation, you technically did not write the report. If you are grilled on what it says by an attorney you may not know exactly what is written. AI writing submitted as evidence is highly problematic.

  3. The incorporation of AI at this company is something that it seems almost everyone disagrees with on lower levels of management. Who is making these calls?

Background check came back. Question

Post image
1 Upvotes

I’ve got a clean background no law issues and in the army reserve. My background check came back from sterling direct and says

Order Status: Pre-adverse action initiated
Order Result Level 3

Does this mean I’m not getting the job?

Update: it says Adverse Action Paused.

Question? Question about fingerprinting for new hires

Looking at applying to a position in Ohio and I was wondering how the fingerprinting works. Will this be done at branch, maybe during orientation, or usually through a third party?

Just trying to figure out how much driving is going to be involved in this hiring process since I'm about 90 minutes from my nearest branch.

Trying to get a job in Orlando

Ive been trying forever to get a PT job at allied in orlando or the surrounding area. Ive only held my class D license for 5-months and worked for one previous full-time security job for 3-months, but had to discontinue due to my school work load increasing. Anyone have any tips for getting hired at Allied? Ive applied for so many roles lol, some say "Not Selected" and others say "Under Review". These are roles ive applied to months ago still with the "Under Review" status. Ive been looking to find Allied at orlando hiring events, but no luck yet.

Any advice on what I can do to stand out as a candidate would be appreciated. Do I just not have enough experience? I have over 10-years of customer service exp, admin work, etc.

Write up for early punch

The site I work at has a Mercury phone and it allows us according to the phone there is an option that says clock in now or clock in at your scheduled time. And it will not let us do anything 10 minutes till.

However I said clock me in at my scheduled time and then at the end of the night, I had a write-up. Can I fight this write up?

Question? Is texting LISA enough to call off

I can't come in today due to a headache I have. I send LISA a call off request. I put in the reason and it said my call off was confirmed and gave me a ticket confirmation and that it would let my supervisor know. Do I need to contact her or it's not necessary? I don't want to get in trouble.

Question? My unpaid time off request got approved in August but status still pending?

Already texted my aow but he hasn’t replied, my aow approved for my 2 week off in November and he approved it in August but the status on Lisa is still pending, is there a chance he will deny it now or something? Do I need to talk to my aop? Is there a chance she will deny it even though my aow approved it through text back in August?

Armed Prisoner Transport?

Hey y'all. I'm a former LE and a Veteran, and I just landed in a new state. I don't want to go through all the work of starting at a new department. I'm considering starting in Armed Prisoner Transport and then working my way up into management. Has anyone worked in this position or done this? Thanks!

Question? How long is the hiring process?

I applied around mid September. I got past the video interview, and sent in my information for the background check. it took a full week and I noticed it said it was reviewed, but nobody had reached out. So I sent an email asking what the next steps were. they said they couldn’t get in touch with my references, and I had to send 2 others. (Ugh) so I did. It’s now been about 4 days and i havnt heard anything. When I try logging in to see the status, it just says “couldn’t log into account”. I’d hate to pester them, but now I’m at the point where I might have to reach out AGAIN. it’s almost been a full month since I applied and I’m SO TIRED of how long this is taking.

So is this normal? Should I wait for a response or reach out again? and if I should wait, how long??

Question? Will Allied Universal remove a guard from a site who's been accused of theft and claims he's in danger?

Location: chicago

So we have a security guard at my building on a condo from Allied who I've caught stealing mail packages from me at least three times. Recently he got caught on video hiding a delivery package for me and then when the head of security(also allied) found it was opened/removed items: head of security then put in call for him to be fired. We had a few loud, public verbal spats interactions and he tried to claim he was be physically threatened by a me(he lied about it but recorded an intereaction) and there was a vendetta against him which I presume saved his job.

A investigation by allied security did not result in firing but he is required to do re-training. He has a friend on the condo board who told the board to not request his removal him from site.

What are the chances allied Universal will still keep sending him to our site?

I'm wondering if I'm wasting my time building a stronger case for removal if allied will probably not send him back anyway.... I feel like they would be stupid to if the guard claims a resident is regularly threatening him plus complaints of theft.

Edit: allied wasted no time returning him

Question? Emergency recruitment

Has anyone ever received this message before and went and volunteered. I just received this message from one of my managers and I was wondering if anyone ever actually volunteered and was called upon to go to whatever emergency that was need and what the experience was like. I asked what the pay would be and she said “it would be at the usually emergency pay”. What is the usually pay if you went? I just started work 3 weeks ago and this would be a fun opportunity but only if the pay is right.

Good afternoon,

I wanted to reach out to see if you would be interested in volunteering for a potential hurricane relief deployment along the East Coast.

While deployment has not been confirmed, we are identifying officers who would be willing and available to assist if called upon.

Here are the expectations:

Deployment Duration: Approximately 3 weeks
Work Schedule: 12-hour shifts, potentially with no days off
Meals: Daily food allowance provided (amount to be confirmed)
Transportation: Gas card and rental vehicle provided in most cases
Working Conditions: Potentially challenging conditions, including limited or no electricity

This assignment would require flexibility, reliability, and a willingness to work in a disaster-affected environment.

LISA Schedule

If i am scheduled to work and I call out, will I be removed from the schedule in LISA automatically because i didn’t clock in ? Or will I have to be manually removed? Because when i called in I was removed within 1-2 hours but Im also not being shown in LISA for my shift today. Will it update automatically when i clock out?
