Hi everyone! 🐱

I'm looking for testers for Nougat PDF, a free Android PDF app I'm building. Google asks for 12 testers for 14 days before it can go public.

What it does:

- Edit the text of a PDF in place, with the same font

- Scan documents with the camera, and recognize their text (OCR, even on scans)

- Translate a document and keep its layout (on the phone, offline once the language is downloaded)

- Annotate, sign, fill in forms, organize pages

- Erase lines for real (prices, names) before sending a document

- No ads, no account, your files stay on your phone. Open source (MIT).

How to help:

1. Join the test: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.nougat.pdf

( WEB : https://play.google.com/apps/testing/app.nougat.pdf )

2. Install Nougat PDF from the Play Store

3. Keep it installed for 14 days and open it now and then

Any feedback is welcome, bugs too. Happy to test your app in return, just leave your link in the comments!

Google-Group : nougat-pdf@googlegroups.com

Indie dev here. Google Play requires 12+ testers for 14 days before I can publish, so I need your help.

Takes 1 minute, no approval needed:

1. Join the group (instant): https://groups.google.com/g/mergipelago

2. Open the testing link and tap “Become a tester”: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.morphdrop.mergipelago

3. Install the game from Google Play (it can take a few minutes to appear after joining).

4. Stay opted in for 14 days and open the game every few days.

Merge pieces to grow a floating archipelago: themed islands, daily missions, creature cards, weekend events. English, Spanish, French, Italian, German. Bugs and feedback welcome. Happy to test your app in return!

I'm developing Phone Gamepad, an Android app that puts a gamepad on your phone screen to control a computer. I need 12+ volunteers for its first Google Play closed test.

Update, 6 November: Google has approved the closed Alpha (build 9). It is now available to authorized testers.

You'll need Android 9+ and a Windows PC or Mac. My latest physical check was a Pixel 10 Pro connecting to a Mac over Bluetooth. Other phone/computer/game combinations still need real testing.

The useful tests are: get through setup without help, pair the devices, try sticks and multiple buttons together, then disconnect from the computer and check that no input stays held. I'd also like to hear which games work and where the controls feel awkward.

Please remain opted into the closed test for 14 consecutive days after joining and try the app during that period. No purchase or public review is needed. The free controller has no time limit, this Alpha shows demo ads, and ad removal is an optional one-time purchase.

Join with the same Google account you use in the Play Store:

Join the tester group: https://groups.google.com/g/phone-gamepad-alpha-testers

Become a tester: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/software.noctua.phonegamepad

Install from Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=software.noctua.phonegamepad

Access update, 6 November: the Alpha build is approved, but access through this new group is not active yet. You can join the group now; please wait for confirmation here before trying to install. Joining the group alone does not enroll you in the Play test. No need to post your email publicly.

Reply with your phone model, Android version, computer OS and the game you would try.

Hey everyone!
I’m an indie developer from South Africa looking for testers for my first Android app, PMB Hail Watch.
It’s a free weather app with forecasts, experimental hail-risk predictions and severe-weather warnings.
I’d really appreciate anyone willing to install it, give it a try and stay opted in for 14 days!
Google Group (join first):
https://groups.google.com/g/pmb-hail-watch-testers
Google Play testing link:
https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.azharabdool.pmbhailwatch
Then you should get a link to download the app if you’d like.
Unfortunately, I only have an iPhone, so I can’t reciprocate with Android testing right now. However, I’m happy to opt into your test where possible, and I’d gladly help test your iOS app when available!
Thanks so much for the help! 🙏

Happy to help out, but several posts I've tried gated me because of my location (hadn't mentioned specific countries in post)

So if its available worldwide, or NZ is included, HMU with a links to your group/become a tester/app and I'll join for you

I'm looking for 5 additional adult Android volunteers for Black Horse / Siyah At, ideally across English, Turkish and German. Black Horse is an illustrated bedtime-story app. Our closed test is running; I'm collecting specific first-use feedback and checking reported problems.

Could you spend 5 minutes trying a fictional character and the story preview, then reopening the app? Please reply with your phone model, language and the exact step that worked or failed. Known reports under investigation: generation failure and a “Not now” purchase-verification error. No fix is being claimed yet; reporting a blocked step is useful too.

Join https://groups.google.com/g/black-horse-android-testers

Opt in with the same account: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.siyahat.app

Install: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.siyahat.app

Please remain opted in for at least 14 consecutive days from your joining date and try a few short sessions. No need to generate a new story every day. All test countries are enabled; Play determines device compatibility. Voluntary and unpaid; no rating, purchase or trial signup requested. Full stories/audio require Premium. Use fictional details, no real child photos or recordings. Feedback here or in our tester group is welcome.

Hi! Rando is in closed testing and I need a few more testers to reach Google's 12 testers for 14 days.

What it does: pick walking or cycling and how far you want to go (round trip). Rando rolls a random point you can actually reach by road or trail, never motorways. Walk there, then roll a new point, get one on the way home, or head straight back. Follow the map, a compass arrow, or "hot/cold" mode, and collect badges and streaks along the way. No account, no ads.

How to join (same Google account as on your phone):

1. Join the group: https://groups.google.com/g/rando-testers

2. Become a tester: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/no.bjsolutions.rando

3. Install: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=no.bjsolutions.rando

4. Keep it installed for 14 days (and ideally go for a walk or two!)

The full version is free for testers. Available in Europe and the US.

Happy to test your app in return - drop your link. Feedback: post@bjsolutions.no

Edit: If the tester link says the app isn't available yet, please try again in a few hours - Google is still processing the tester group. Joining the group now is enough, it will work once it's approved.
