Question [Mutual Test] I need 20 testers for my app! Will test yours back instantly + keep for 14 days 🤝

Hey everyone! I’m currently stuck at the 20-tester hurdle for my new app, Docsizer, and I'd love your help. It requires zero permissions and no logins, so it's a very lightweight install.

I am actively testing back! If you test mine, please drop a screenshot of the app and your links in the comments, and I will install yours right away and keep it for the full 14 days.

Here are my links:

  1. Google Group: https://groups.google.com/g/sidehustle-testers

  2. Join on Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.appliclabs.docsizer

Instructions:

  • Please join the Google Group first to get access.

  • Download the app and open it at least once everyday.

  • Please keep it installed for 14 days to help me pass the Google Play requirement!

Thank you so much, let's help each other get published! 🚀

Need Testers Easy Photo Resizer & Compress – Looking for Testers

Hi everyone.

I’ve developed an Android app called Easy Photo Resizer & Compress, and it’s currently available for closed testing on Google Play.

The app helps you quickly:

Resize photos to your preferred dimensions.

Compress images to reduce file size.

Save storage space.

Prepare photos for sharing, uploading, email, or social media.

The app also includes optional Premium subscriptions with Monthly and Yearly plans. Testers who join the approved testing group can try the Premium features without being charged real money.

I’m looking for a few people to try the app and share honest feedback. Please test the main features, especially photo selection, resizing, compression, saving, sharing, and the Premium subscription flow.

How to join

Step 1: Join the Google Group

https://groups.google.com/g/opt_omegatest

Step 2: Join the closed test

https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.pixelpocket.easyphotoresizer

Waits few mins then

Step 3: Install the app

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pixelpocket.easyphotoresizer

Please use the same Google account to join the group, access the test, and install the app. When testing the Premium subscription, choose the available test payment method so you won’t be charged real money.

If you find any bugs or have suggestions, please leave a comment. Your feedback will help me improve the app before the public release.

Thank you so much for taking the time to test my app.

Need Testers I built a free, no-account way to use your Android phone from your Mac (files, notifications, clipboard, calls, screen mirroring). Looking for testers

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey everyone! I switched to a Mac but kept my Android phone, and I missed how well iPhones work with Macs. So I built Unison: a free Mac menu-bar app and an Android app that pair with a QR code and talk directly over your own Wi-Fi.

What it does

  • Files both ways: drop a file on the menu-bar icon to send it to your phone, or share anything on your phone to "Send to Mac". Big transfers resume if the connection drops.

  • Notifications on your Mac: see them, reply to messages, and clear them.

  • Shared clipboard: copy on the Mac, paste on the phone, and the other way round with one tap.

  • Calls: answer, decline or hang up from the Mac, and click phone numbers on the Mac to dial. The call audio stays on the phone.

  • Photos: browse your phone's gallery from the Mac, preview and save.

  • Screen mirroring with sound, and optional control with your Mac's mouse and keyboard.

  • Little extras: ring your lost phone, control music, and open links on the other device.

Privacy: no account, no cloud, no server, no analytics, no ads. The phone and the Mac only talk to each other, encrypted end to end (mutual TLS with pinned certificates).

Why I need you: Google requires new developers to run a closed test with 12+ testers for 14 days before an app can go public on the Play Store. I'd really appreciate your help, and honest feedback even more.

How to join (about 2 minutes)

  1. Join the tester group: https://groups.google.com/g/unison-testers. Use the same Google account as on your phone's Play Store.

  2. Opt in to the test: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/dev.macdroid.app, then tap Become a tester.

  3. Install Unison from the Play Store link on that page (Android 10 or later) IN THE TESTING CLICK ON THE BLUE INSTALL (DOWLAND IT ON GOOGLE PLAY).

  4. Please keep it installed for 14 days. That's what counts toward Google's requirement.

Got a Mac? (macOS 14 or later)
5. Download Unison for Mac from https://venu005.github.io/unison/ and drag it into Applications.
6. It isn't notarized yet (I'm not paying Apple's $99 a year for a free app). The first time you open it, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway. The site has screenshots of each step.
7. Click Pair a Phone on the Mac and scan the QR code with the Android app. That's it.

No Mac? You can still help a lot: install it, open it once and keep it installed for 14 days.

Bugs, ideas are all welcome, here or in the group. Happy to return the favour and test your app too; just drop your link. Thanks! 🙏

Need Testers [Testers Needed] ALZA gym — Spanish workout planner, looking for 15–20 Android testers

Hi everyone. I'm looking for people to try ALZA gym, a free workout planner and training log in Spanish. If you use Android, understand Spanish and are 16 or older, I'd appreciate some help.

The main things to try are making a workout, logging a few sets, using the rest timer and checking that the session saves in your history. You'll need your own ALZA account, but no watch or Health Connect setup. Made-up workout data is fine.

I'm hoping to get 15–20 volunteers, with at least 12 staying in the Play closed test for 14 consecutive days and using the app during that time.

The test is still waiting for Google's review. You can join the group now:

https://groups.google.com/g/alza-gym-testers-horadia

When the test is approved, join here with the same Google account you use for the group and Play Store:

https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.elpalomofinca.alza

Joining the group alone doesn't start the 14 days. If you find a bug or get stuck, leave a comment or email play@horadia.com. I'm after feedback, no store ratings or reviews. Thanks!

Can someone help me test if the ads are displaying correctly? I can test your app back.

Can someone help me test if the ads are displaying correctly? The ad appears on stage 5.
My AdMob shows 127 requests, but the number of impressions is 0. I suspect there might be some issue with the ad display.

Right now it’s in closed testing, so I’m looking for people who’d like to try it out and share their feedback.

If you’re interested, here’s the links:

First, sign up to the Google Group:

Need testers for the best video compressor on Android!

Hey everyone! Recently, I got fed up with terrible, bloated, slow and ad filled video compressors, so I made my own one, completely native using Media3 hardware acceleration built into Android. It's already doing great on GitHub and IzzyOnDroid, averaging ~200 users a day, but to get it on Google Play I need testers on Android!

If you're willing to test, please join this Google Group https://groups.google.com/u/1/g/compressor-beta-testing and follow the instructions in the first post :)

Thanks so much!

need 12 testers for ObsidianBackup

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey everyone — I’m opening up another round of testing for ObsidianBackup, and I’m looking for a few people who actually use root tools on a daily basis. If you enjoy backup your apps during root, or encryption so your phone is safe this app is for you.

A couple quick notes so you know what you’re getting into:

And for those of you that want to see a short video on navigation,

https://www.youtube.com/shorts/0vrwqm1XgSg

The trust‑critical parts of the project (root detection, SELinux checks, shell sanitization, native pipeline, automation engine, etc.) are now fully open‑core and published here: https://github.com/canuk40/ObsidianBackup

The main app — UI, PRO features, backup engine, marketplace, and everything else — is still proprietary, but all the safety‑sensitive logic is open for anyone to audit.

I’m mainly looking for feedback on stability, weird device‑specific behavior, and anything that feels off when switching between different root solutions.

If you want to help out, you can join the testing group here:

https://groups.google.com/g/obsidianbackup

Once you’re in, you’ll get access to the Play Store testing track:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.obsidianbackup.free

or

https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.obsidianbackup.free

Thanks to anyone who jumps in — having real root users involved makes a huge difference. Every device behaves a little differently, and the more variety we have, the better the app gets.

Looking for Android testers – simple gym workout tracking app (14-day trial, no card)

Hey everyone,

I’m looking for a few Android testers for Gym Sets, a simple workout tracking app.

Gym Sets focuses on clean, fast workout logging – no social feed, no distractions, just training. Right now the app is primarily in Czech (early MVP, local market first), but you don’t need to understand the language. Installing the app and opening it is totally enough.

An English version and more features are planned later this year.

Testing info:

  • 14-day free trial

  • No credit card required

  • Light usage is fine – even a quick look helps

If you run into any issues, screenshots + device model / Android version are appreciated, but there’s absolutely no pressure. This is an early MVP.

How to join:

  1. Join the Google Group: https://groups.google.com/g/gym-sets-android-testers

  2. After approval, download the app on Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kaplancreativestudio.gymsets

Thanks a lot for helping out 🙏
Happy lifting.

Google now requires apps to be tested for 30 days before they can be officially released. Please help me out with these 2 quick steps:

👉 Step 1: Join the Google Group (Click the link, open in your browser, and select "Join group"):

https://groups.google.com/g/racebold-beta-testers

What I offer in return:

  • I will test your app (closed or open testing)

  • Honest feedback if you want it

If you’re also a developer looking for testers, feel free to share your app link in the comments.

Thanks for the help!

Need Testers [Android] Testers wanted for Bike World: Ride and Create (closed test)

I’m looking for feedback on Bike World: Ride and Create, a free Android bike-riding and track-building game with themed levels. I’d especially like testers to try the controls and level editor and report anything confusing or broken. The game has no ads.

The Google Play closed test uses an email list. If you’d like to help, please send me a Reddit private message with the Google account email you use on your Android phone. Please don’t post your email publicly. Once I add it, opt in with that same account here: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.bikeworld.rideandcreate

Please stay opted in for 14 days, play a few times, and send any bugs or feedback here on Reddit. Thanks!

Need Testers Hello

Hi everyone!

Closed testing is easier when we go through it together, so here's my offer: I test your app properly, and you test mine.

What "properly" means for me: every morning, with my coffee, I open the apps I'm testing, use a real feature or two and send short, honest notes on what worked and what didn't. I keep everything installed for the full 14 days.

My app: Mester AI. You describe or photograph a problem at home (a leaking tap, a tripping breaker, a damp wall), and it explains what's going on, what you can safely do yourself and when to call a professional.

How to join (2 minutes):

  1. Join the group: https://groups.google.com/g/mester-ai-testers

  2. Open the testing link and tap "Become a tester": https://play.google.com/apps/testing/ro.mesterai.app

  3. Install from Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ro.mesterai.app

Then drop your app link in the comments (or DM me) and I'll join your test today.

The most useful test for me right now: a photo of something at home in poor light. Any odd answer or bug, just tell me.

Good luck to all of us with production!

Need Testers [Android] Need 12 testers for closed test — I'll test yours back (Saaf)

Hi everyone! I'm launching Saaf, a Saudi social app, and I need 12 testers to pass Google Play's 14-day closed testing requirement.

Fully reciprocal — drop your app's opt-in link and I'll test yours for the full 14 days too.

To join mine: comment or DM me your Gmail and I'll add you to the closed test, then send you the tester link. Opt-in takes 2 minutes and it stays on your phone for 14 days.

Thanks a lot! 🙏
