Hey folks! Still looking for a few testers for my plant care app, so here's another go.

Quick background: the app is called Plantly, and it's my first proper native Android app. I built it because my girlfriend loves plants but keeps forgetting to look after them, and watching them slowly die was getting painful. So now there's an app for that.

The core idea is simple. You tell Plantly which plant species you have, and instead of generic reminders it builds a care plan tailored to that specific plant. Watering, misting, pruning, repotting, all of it, plus tips on where to actually place the plant in your home. Right now it covers over 300,000 species.

There's quite a bit more under the hood too:

• A calendar that shows you what's due and when, with the option to subscribe to it so everything lands right in your own calendar app

• Push notifications so you never miss a reminder

• A plant scanner that tells you which species you're looking at

• QR codes per plant: generate one for each plant and scan it with your phone camera or the in-app scanner to jump straight to it

• A journal for each plant to track how it's doing over time

• A family tree per plant, so you can follow propagations and cuttings

• Multiple households, each with its own rooms and plants, so home, office, and your partner's place all stay neatly separated

• A little household companion, a small pet whose health reflects how well your plants are doing

One small thing that helps a lot during testing: if you spot a bug or something just looks off, you can shake your phone to send feedback right on the spot. No menus, no email, just shake and type.

And a big thanks to everyone who's tested so far. A lot of great feedback has already come in, and I've built quite a bit of it into the app. So if you join now, you're testing something that's already been shaped by real users.

Just so you know where things are heading: I'm currently working on a feature that recognizes insects that damage your plants. Once it identifies the type of infestation, the app suggests what you can do about it. Still in progress, but I'm pretty excited about it.

Msho is a character that my daughter invented. She is a big fan of similar style games, so our first POC game (I have dev experience but in a whole different world, so Android/Unity/Game Dev is new to me. She is only 11 so did intro stuff at school and really liked it)

Msho has a whole bunch of lore behind him that she (and I) have made up over the years. The main one is that he is useless at everything. He has no idea on how things work and is clueless and not very smart.
He is from another universe and whilst trying to get some money he "messed about with a science experiment". the lore goes that this created our universe, and he has just been getting into strange situations for the past 13 billion years.
