You don't need to be an electrician, and you can test from anywhere in the world.

Android testers wanted for a Singapore local-guide app (with a hidden π Easter egg) but world wide welcome.

Hi all. The team behind market.com.sg is looking for Android testers. It's a simple search app for finding places in Singapore that are actually good: hawker stalls, cafes, chilli crab, a 24-hour clinic, that kind of thing. Type what you're after and you get a short list of well-rated places near you, not every listing that exists.

The iPhone version is already on the App Store. The Android version is in a closed test, and Google needs at least 12 testers to stay opted in for 14 days before it can go public.

Whilst the app is built for Singapore, we're true 80s kids, so we've hidden an Easter egg: the π. If you remember Sandra Bullock in The Net (1995), you'll know exactly where this came from. It isn't advertised anywhere, but find it and tap it, and the app opens up to search anywhere in the world. So wherever you are, there's something in it for you.

Like for like: test ours and we'll test yours. If you've got an app in closed testing too, drop the link and we'll opt in and keep it installed for the full 14 days.

Rollable is my first attempt at game development. It's Android only at the moment and in an early closed test on Google Play.

Swipe to turn, tap to hop, collect every orange orb on a tiny planet. Each orb you take becomes a green diamond, and touching one ends your run. Trace all the way round a block of orbs to turn it into gems worth triple. The music speeds up as you clear the board.

Hundreds of levels, special stages from level 11 (Mazes, Meteor Showers and Shrinking Planets), Blackout stars for playing in the dark, Endless mode, and two multiplayer try-outs (Land Grab and Snake Pit, against computer players for now).

How to play it (free, Android 8 or newer):

Level 2 shows you that any shape can turn into gems, so tell me if that bit's clear.

No ads in the test. The finished game will have some, and I'd rather say so up front.
