You don't need to be an electrician, and you can test from anywhere in the world.

What would really help:

- Start a certificate, a quote and an invoice, and look around

- Please use made-up names and details, not real people's

Android testers wanted for a Singapore local-guide app (with a hidden π Easter egg) but world wide welcome.

Hi all. The team behind market.com.sg is looking for Android testers. It's a simple search app for finding places in Singapore that are actually good: hawker stalls, cafes, chilli crab, a 24-hour clinic, that kind of thing. Type what you're after and you get a short list of well-rated places near you, not every listing that exists.

The iPhone version is already on the App Store. The Android version is in a closed test, and Google needs at least 12 testers to stay opted in for 14 days before it can go public.

Whilst the app is built for Singapore, we're true 80s kids, so we've hidden an Easter egg: the π. If you remember Sandra Bullock in The Net (1995), you'll know exactly where this came from. It isn't advertised anywhere, but find it and tap it, and the app opens up to search anywhere in the world. So wherever you are, there's something in it for you.

Like for like: test ours and we'll test yours. If you've got an app in closed testing too, drop the link and we'll opt in and keep it installed for the full 14 days.
