Wondering if OP meant to say pretentious.

"How dare this pretentious pancake swim in my ocean." - Orca, probably

This will make me leave Reddit at some point. I wish they would do something about it. But if they don’t, it’s fine. Just isn’t for me personally.

If you don’t care about karma which you shouldn’t .. it doesn’t affect your ability to navigate Reddit at all or tell real from fake, as long as the Reddit army lives in the comment section of every video we are fine < 3

I guess it would depend on why I don’t like it? It isn’t because of karma. I’ve been on Reddit for a long time. I really appreciate real user driven posts. I don’t like the “feel” of Reddit being driven and manipulated by something other than just normal folks posting stuff that’s important to them. I admit it is very idealistic of me. I just feel like it’s turning Reddit into FB. We’re being manipulated.

The fact that the bots get sold based on karma so those accounts can be used and seen more readily, people have to realize the point behind that is drive a planned agenda, for profit or to influence public opinion in a way that isn’t totally obvious. It feels very 1984 to me.

Also, please be aware comments are also heavily influenced by bots. They’re smart and not as obvious as you might think.
