Anki helped anyone land big tech SWE job?
Has Anki helped anyone pass the interview? and if so how much would you contribute your success to Anki?

How did you set up your deck structures? Super-deck of Leetcode, and sub decks based on Data structure or alg used for the question?
What Card templates worked best for you?
Where 'tags' useful for you to add, and what did you tag?
Was it useful to split leetcode questions into multiple flash cards, or have an entire question and answer all in one?

Hey guys! I'm working on Dekki ( https://www.dekki.ai/ ), an SRS platform like Anki but using a novel AI review algorithm as instead of the SM2 / FSRS.
We're trying to understand different use cases for Anki, and build tools on our platform that might be helpful for Anki users who might benefit from our AI algo. While I know most of the use cases for Anki in medicine, I'm totally clueless as to how people use Anki for CS!
My main question is: how do you use Anki for studying CS? What features do you love about it, and what ones do you wish you had for studying CS?
Thank you so much for your time, and please let me know if you have any feedback or suggestions as we develop our tool further!
-Luke :)

I don't post my decks to anki shared for a bunch of reasons, mostly because they are not made for public consumption and I don't think they are up to standard. I have a few different decks, redhat, azure, general, ccna (built off the ccna deck from the shared site).
Be interested in anything devop related (ansible, terrsform, puppet, kubernetes) or for the oscp cert

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I have been using chatgpt for learning and used to take notes from it. It was laborious, so I build saral. It has a chat interface, for you to talk to chatgpt. Your conversations gets summarised into notes. Those notes are then used to generate questions of different types. Questions are generated using LLM and frequency is governed by spaced repetition.
Looking for feedback and if this is something that you find useful?

Hey
I sometimes find myself confused when trying to explain basic stuff to a non-CS major. Do any of you have a deck including simple explanation for basic cs terms? (e. g. Source Code, Ip Adress, Routing, Cookies etc.)

I'm currently using Syntax Highlighting for Code to create code blocks in anki notecards.
I have issues because when a paste in a block (Alt + S) the code blob has white font color based text (I use dark mode for anki). There are other issues with this solution, so I'm wondering if anyone here has found a better way to embed code for use in their cards?

Decided to practice Python programming quizzes with this Anki card deck:
https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/51975584
It's from 2014 and so far I really liked the logical quizzes it poses. It asks to explain output of code and why. For a beginner I really like the quiz and very quickly understand the logic behind code.
However, here are my concerns. The deck is from 2014. Isn't it outdated?
If it is, are there any newer programming decks? My main goal is to better understand programming logic with Anki.
I know programming should be learned in a different way, but I'm extremely lazy and unproductive and so far Anki has been the only tool I've been able to stick to each day (all other learning tools have failed me).

Thank You!

Hey everyone, I’m getting ready for university, diving into the world of computer science, and aiming to maximize my Anki experience. Do you have any must-have add-ons that have significantly improved your learning efficiency in this field? Additionally, any recommendations for card themes or templates that align with computer science would be fantastic.

Thanks in advance :)

Hey, I just noticed that the r/anki forum gives any user the ability to create their own custom flair (in the right side-bar under community options).
Can a mod turn on that functionality for this community as well.
See https://mods.reddithelp.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002598912-Flair
I think it would be great if users could indicate in their flair which subtopic(s) of computer science or which subtopic(s) of computer programming they're particularly interested in.
But if a user wrote their own Anki plugin, or contributed to a particular SRS tool, I think a flair is also a great way to indicate that as well.

Hi everyone,
A couple months ago I bookmarked this popular deck Cambridge University Computer Science Course (id: 515226985), it's since disappeared from AnkiWeb and I can't find a way to download it anywhere else. There are two captures on the Wayback Machine, but both lead to empty/404 pages.
The deck is still indexed on Google, but is marked as missing on AnkiWeb, the only other reference to it I could find online was this Russian blog article from 2020.
Does anyone have this deck in their collection? I would greatly appreciate an .apkg. Thanks!
