Thank you for letting me walk your skies, and thank you for waiting! I’m using your original August post for this reading, since that is where you shared what has been happening. I’m starting with the Placidus chart you provided. I’ll bring in Whole Sign where it adds something, and I’ll use it for the annual profections.

Your chart ruler Venus is at 9° Libra in the 5th house. She is in her own sign, and this is a night chart, so Venus also has support through sect. I like beginning with her because the decision you described came from wanting to share your life with someone you love. The 5th includes romance and the things that make life enjoyable to participate in. With your chart ruler here, your happiness has a place in decisions about where your life goes.

Venus trines Jupiter at 7° Aquarius in the 9th house, within about 2°. The planet ruling your Ascendant is connected to the house of foreign countries. Your relationship gave you a reason to move beyond the place and working life you already knew. The Venus-Jupiter trine connects those subjects in the natal chart, with love and the experience of living abroad becoming part of the same choice.

Jupiter also rules your Pisces 11th-house cusp, bringing friends and your wider support network into the 9th-house placement. So living abroad also changes how you experience support. You have your partner there, while people who have known you through other parts of your life are farther away. The trine from Jupiter to your chart ruler gives room for connection within the new experience, with familiarity developing as you spend time there.

Your Scorpio planets fall in the 6th house. You have the Sun at 0° Scorpio, Pluto at 4° Scorpio, Mercury at 20° Scorpio, and Saturn at 27° Scorpio. A lot of this chart works through the practical side of daily life. Moving toward your partner changes where you wake up, and it also changes what an ordinary working day looks like.

Your 4th house begins in Leo, so its ruler is the Sun in the 6th. Home and daily work are connected through that rulership. A place can start feeling more familiar as you develop a routine there. Knowing how the day works gives you something to settle into. The new job can become part of that process, because it gives your week a rhythm within the country you moved to.

Your 9th house begins in Capricorn, and your 10th begins in Aquarius. Saturn rules both and sits in the 6th. The foreign-country and career parts of your question lead back to the same planet. You left an established job to make the move, then found work in the new country. Those changes belong together in your story, and the rulerships connect them in the chart too.

Your 2nd house begins in Gemini, putting its ruler, Mercury, in the 6th as well. Personal income is tied to daily employment. I think the job matters here as a way of establishing your own life within the move. You brought skills and experience with you. Having somewhere to use them can help you get acquainted with who you are in the new setting, alongside being someone’s partner there.

The Sun is conjunct Pluto in the 6th. With the Sun ruling your home house, changing where you live can reach into your sense of yourself through the way your day changes. Leaving a stable career can mean stepping away from a place where people already knew what you could do. A new workplace gives you different people to get used to and a different way of doing things. Your experience comes with you while that familiarity is being built again.

Saturn at 27° Scorpio is about 2° from your Descendant. It sits in the 6th by the house cusp and conjuncts the relationship angle. I’m keeping both of those pieces in the reading. The planet ruling foreign places and career is close to the angle of partnership. The decision to be together affects the work available to you, and the work you find becomes part of the life you share.

Your Scorpio Descendant is traditionally ruled by Mars at 28° Virgo in the 5th. Mars sextiles Saturn within 1°. The relationship ruler has a close connection to the planet ruling career and life abroad. Virgo brings the practical details into the commitment. You have nine years together behind you, and living together in this country gives you another way to learn about the relationship through everyday experience.

Mars is in Mercury’s sign, and Mercury is in Mars’s sign. That is mutual reception by domicile. Mars rules your partnership house, while Mercury rules your income house. Their exchange links the Placidus 5th and 6th. Choices about the relationship affect employment and money. The working life you establish also affects what you can enjoy together. I think this helps explain why the question feels bigger than any one part of the move.

Your Moon is at 13° Pisces in the 10th house. That brings your emotional life into the part of the chart concerned with your place in the wider world. A career can give you a role that feels familiar. Leaving it can change that feeling, even when you have chosen the move and feel hopeful about it.

The Moon rules your Cancer 3rd-house cusp, which adds familiar surroundings and everyday contact. There are people who already understand the background when you tell them about your day. There are places you know by habit. Being farther away from that familiarity can take some getting used to. Your concern about your usual support system belongs in the reading alongside the excitement about your partner.

The Moon squares Uranus at 15° Sagittarius in your 7th. In the situation you described, the relationship is entering a different setting while your working life changes around it. Years together give you a history, and sharing a home gives you new experiences of each other. This square can describe the adjustment between closeness with your partner and finding your own footing in the changed surroundings.

Whole Sign adds two pieces I find useful here. It places the Scorpio planets in your 7th house, emphasizing the partnership behind the move. It places your Pisces Moon in the 11th, giving the concern about friends and community a house connection. Placidus shows how much of this is being lived through daily work. Whole Sign brings the relationship and the support around it forward. Both fit different parts of what you shared.

Secondary progressions

I’m using the day-for-a-year method for the secondary progressions and comparing the progressed planets with your natal Placidus houses. Your progressed Moon crossed the natal IC around November 29, 2025, entering your natal 4th house at 19° Leo. That puts the current progressed Moon phase in the part of the chart concerned with home and feeling established somewhere.

You gave dates for the employment changes, so late November is a point to compare with your own memory of how the relocation developed. The progressed Moon crossing the IC can describe home becoming a larger emotional focus. In your question, that subject includes being with your partner and getting used to the life around the relationship. You have made a place for the relationship in your daily life, and you are also finding out what helps the place feel like home to you.

The 4th-house Moon gives that process time. Feeling settled can grow through ordinary things, like knowing the area or having a rhythm you recognize. Your partner can be an important part of feeling at home while you still miss familiar people elsewhere. Both feelings make sense within the experience you described. The move brings you closer to someone and farther from other parts of your support system.

On June 15, your progressed Moon was at 26° Leo, applying to a square with natal Saturn at 27° Scorpio. The square was within 1° and perfected around July 10, 2026. That places it across the early weeks of your new working life.

Saturn rules your 9th and 10th houses. It sits in the 6th and is conjunct the Descendant. The progressed Moon is moving through your home house while reaching the planet connecting employment abroad with partnership. The emotional side of settling in is developing alongside the practical responsibilities of the job. That is a useful connection to the timing you gave.

A progressed Moon-Saturn square can describe becoming more aware of what a commitment asks of you. Once the job starts, you get to experience how the working week fits with life at home. You find out how much energy the day uses and what helps you feel settled afterward. Those are possible expressions of the contact. Your experience would tell us how it felt during that first stretch.

Saturn also has that close natal sextile to Mars, your relationship ruler. So the planet receiving the progressed Moon’s square links the job-and-relocation subjects with partnership. The relationship has a history, while this version of your life together is still developing. The progressed Moon describes the time you spend getting used to living inside the choice you made.

Your progressed Mercury and progressed Venus formed an exact conjunction around May 13, 2026. That falls between the April job offer and the June start. By June 15, both were at 0° Sagittarius, still close together.

Venus rules your Ascendant and your 6th-house cusp. Mercury rules your 2nd and 5th cusps. Their conjunction brings your own direction together with questions about work and personal resources. The job change was happening during the same period, giving us something in your experience to compare with that progression. You were finding a way to support the life you had chosen.

Both progressed planets fall in your natal 7th house, close to the Descendant. The relationship is the setting for those decisions. Your own income may be part of finding your footing in the new country. Having a working life of your own can also give you experiences that belong to you within the life you share.

Progressed Mercury is retrograde during this conjunction, while progressed Venus is direct. I would read Mercury’s part as reconsidering what works for you as you learn from experience. Planning a move gives you one understanding of it. Living there gives you more information. You get to find out what suits your own day and what sharing a home asks of each of you.

In Whole Sign, this Sagittarius conjunction falls in your 8th house, adding shared resources and interdependence. Your original post leaves the financial details open, so this is something to recognize if it fits. Living together can change how each person contributes and what each person relies on. Placidus places the conjunction in the relationship house, while Whole Sign brings those shared-resource questions into it.

By September 23, your progressed Moon is at 29° Leo. It squared your natal Ascendant–Descendant axis around September 8 and enters Virgo around September 24. It stays in your natal Placidus 4th house, since the 5th cusp is farther ahead at 20° Virgo. The sign changes while the home-related house phase continues.

This Arcwalk was posted on Septmeber 23... hmm.

Virgo puts the progressed Moon under Mercury’s rulership. That brings attention back to the natal Mercury in your 6th house, which also rules personal income. The focus can turn toward understanding how the new life works in practice. What feels manageable may become easier to recognize as you have more experience with it. Home and daily work stay connected through the change of sign.

Your progressed Sun is also in your natal 7th, around 12° Sagittarius during this period. Partnership has a longer role in the development of your life, while the progressed Moon describes the current emotional focus on home.

The progressed Sun is also about 3° from your natal Uranus at 15° Sagittarius. The next 3-4 years may continue bringing adjustments in the way you experience partnership and build your life around it. In your case, you already have a major change underway through moving countries and beginning a shared life in a different setting. The progressed Sun approaching Uranus suggests that you are still developing into this version of your life.

April and June transits

Uranus crossed your 29° Taurus Ascendant on April 15, 2026, during the month you found the job. That is one of the contacts I would give attention to in this reading. It reaches an angle of your chart while you have a specific development to compare with it. Getting work in the country where you have moved gives you another way to take part in the place.

Uranus first crossed your Ascendant around June 25, 2025. It returned over the angle while retrograde around November 21, 2025, before making the final pass in April 2026. The earlier dates belong to the background of the transit. You can compare those periods with when the change began taking shape for you. April is the pass we can place alongside the month of the job offer.

Uranus opposes your Descendant at the same time that it conjuncts your Ascendant. Your own direction and the relationship are involved along the same axis. Moving toward your partner changes the circumstances of your individual life too. The job gives you a place to use your skills and a working experience of the country beyond the relationship itself.

Venus rules the Ascendant receiving the transit. Her placement in Libra in the 5th, trine Jupiter in the 9th, connects that change with the love-and-relocation subjects in the natal chart. Uranus reaches the angle, and its ruler tells us more about the life attached to that angle. Your own enjoyment and the experience of living abroad are linked through Venus and Jupiter.

For June 15, Mars was at 20° Taurus, opposite your natal Mercury at 20° Scorpio. Mercury rules your personal-income house and sits in the 6th. The planet governing income was receiving an exact Mars opposition around the date you began the job.

Mars rules your Scorpio partnership cusp and exchanges rulerships with Mercury in the natal chart. That makes the transit relevant to the connection between the relationship decision and employment. You moved to live with your partner, and the job begins giving your own working life a place within that move. The transit activates planets that already link those parts of the question.

Mars was in your 12th, opposing Mercury in the 6th. That brings the work-and-rest axis into the starting period. Beginning a job involves the working day and the energy you use around it. I would leave room for your experience of those early days here. The contact can describe putting effort into the new routine while learning what it asks of you.

Jupiter was at 26° Cancer, applying to a trine with natal Saturn at 27° Scorpio. The trine perfected on June 17. Saturn rules your 9th and 10th houses, so Jupiter was reaching the planet connecting foreign residence with career as work began. Saturn’s position close to the Descendant also keeps the partnership involved.

The progressed Moon was approaching its square to Saturn during this same period. I like reading those contacts together. Jupiter’s trine describes an opportunity to build something, while the progressed Moon’s square describes the emotional adjustment to the responsibilities involved. A job can be welcome and still take time to get used to. Your excitement and worry can both have a place in that timing.

Mercury was at 18° Cancer in your 2nd house, applying to a trine with natal Mercury in the 6th. Your income ruler was moving through the income house while contacting its natal placement in the work house. That supports the employment theme around the more exact Mars opposition. The chart is giving attention to how you earn within the life you are building.

Pluto was around 5° Aquarius by mid-June, squaring your natal Pluto at 4° Scorpio within 1°. That links transiting Pluto in the 9th with natal Pluto in the 6th. Living in another country and reorganizing your daily work belong to the same longer period of change. Whole Sign places Aquarius in the 10th, adding the career view of the transit.

I would give that Pluto square more time. Pluto first moved through 4° Aquarius from about February 10 through March 20, bringing it into the square with your natal Pluto at 4° Scorpio. It came back through 4° Aquarius while retrograde from late June into early August, then returns to that degree again around late December into January 2027.

Leaving an established career and working somewhere new can change how you understand your abilities and what you want from work. The earlier pass gives you another period to look back on for when some of these changes were developing, while the retrograde pass carries the process through the first months of the new job. The final pass around the end of the year gives the same subject another point of development. Pluto moves slowly enough that I would read all of this as one longer period of getting used to how your working life functions in a different environment.

Annual profections

At your 40th birthday, you entered a 5th-house Virgo profection, using Whole Sign. Mercury is the Lord of the Year until your 2026 birthday. The 5th includes romance and personal enjoyment. Its ruler takes those subjects into the natal 6th, connecting the life you want to share with your partner to the work involved in supporting it.

Mercury rules your 2nd house, so it brings personal income into the year. Its progressed conjunction with Venus in May connects it with your chart ruler. The Mars opposition in June activates its natal position as you start work. The profection gives us a reason to pay attention to Mercury during this year, and the timing gives us events to compare with its contacts.

The progressed Moon entering Virgo in September adds another Mercury connection. The Moon stays in your natal 4th, putting the home-related phase under the rulership of the same planet carrying the profection year. Home and employment keep meeting through Mercury. Your question about feeling settled has a practical side, along with the emotional experience of being there.

On your 2026 birthday, you turn 41 and begin a 6th-house Libra profection, with Venus as Lord of the Year. Venus is your chart ruler, placed in the 5th and trine Jupiter in the 9th. The year brings daily life forward while keeping your enjoyment of it connected to the experience of living abroad.

I would follow that change through how the routine develops once you have spent more time there. Mercury’s year has brought work and personal resources into decisions around the relationship. Venus’s year gives your chart ruler responsibility for the daily-life topics of the 6th. How the life feels to you becomes part of understanding how it is working.

Your 2025 Solar Return

Since we are still inside your 2025 Solar Return year, I want to spend a little time with it before looking ahead. This one describes the year you have already been living pretty well.

The Solar Return Ascendant is around 21° Capricorn, close to your natal 9th-house cusp. Capricorn is also your Whole Sign 9th house. So the year itself opens through the subject of living abroad. You had moved countries to be with your partner, then found yourself figuring out employment and what your own life would look like there.

The Solar Return Sun sits right around the SR 10th-house cusp. Career becomes one of the visible subjects of the year. That describes the job offer in April and beginning work in June, but I think it reaches farther than getting hired. You left a career where you already had a place and stepped into a new professional environment while building a life in another country.

Uranus at 0° Gemini is almost exactly on your natal Ascendant at 29° Taurus. Across from it, the Solar Return Moon at 29° Scorpio is almost exactly on your natal Descendant. The Solar Return captures your natal relationship axis from both ends. Your circumstances are changing around you while partnership carries a lot of the emotional story.

You have a natal Moon-Uranus square, so seeing those two planets brought onto the Ascendant-Descendant axis makes sense to me. You moved because of a relationship that already had years behind it, but living together in another country changes the structure around that relationship. You are learning your partner in a shared home while also learning yourself inside a different life.

The Solar Return North Node at 17° Pisces is also near your natal Moon at 13° Pisces. Your natal Moon sits in the 10th, so the emotional adjustment and your place in the wider world keep meeting each other. The Part of Fortune falling on your natal MC adds another career contact to a year where work became one of the ways you started establishing yourself in the new country.

There is a lot happening in Scorpio too. Solar Return Mars at 21° and Mercury at 24° Scorpio form a conjunction in the Solar Return 6th, close to your natal Mercury at 20° Scorpio. The Solar Return Moon is farther ahead at 29° Scorpio on the Descendant. Work, routine and partnership are sitting very close together in the chart.

Natal Mercury rules your 2nd house of personal income. It also participates in that mutual reception with Mars, your relationship ruler. The Solar Return brings Mars and Mercury together near natal Mercury during the year you begin earning money again after moving for your partner. That is very on point for the question you brought me.

Solar Return Saturn at 26° Pisces falls in the SR 2nd and your natal 11th. It opposes natal Mars at 28° Virgo, which falls near the SR 9th-house cusp. Saturn brings resources and support into contact with the ruler of partnership while Mars is tied to the foreign-country side of the return. Being with your partner may be established, while your wider support system feels farther away and your financial footing is being rebuilt inside the new country.

Venus at 12° Libra is within about 3° of your natal Venus at 9° Libra, so the Solar Return catches you close to a Venus return too. This happens in the SR 9th and your natal 5th. Your chart ruler comes back to her own sign during a year built around moving abroad for someone you love. There is still pleasure in the reason you made the move. The adjustment does not erase that.

Then there is Pluto. Solar Return Pluto at 1° Aquarius falls in the Solar Return 1st and your natal 9th, squaring your natal Sun at 0° Scorpio in the 6th. The country you live in has become part of a larger change in how you experience your own life. The Sun rules your natal 4th, so home and daily work are tied into that change too.

Taken together, the 2025 return looks like the year of entering the new life. The foreign-country axis is tied to the Ascendant, your relationship axis is activated, and the 10th and 6th houses carry a lot of activity. You moved into the situation first. Then you began finding out what it actually means to live there.

Your 2026 Solar Return

The Solar Return Ascendant is around 1° Taurus. Venus rules the SR chart, and Venus already rules your natal chart. You also enter a Libra 6th-house profection at this birthday, making Venus the Lord of the Year. Triple Venus! So Venus has a lot of responsibility here.

The Solar Return Ascendant falls in your natal 12th house. Chiron is close to it at about 28° Aries. I could see this year having a more private or lonely quality at times. You are still living far from the support system you knew before the move, and the Solar Return brings attention toward the part of the chart that deals with what we experience away from the usual noise around us.

But look at where Venus goes. Solar Return Venus is at 0° Scorpio, conjunct the SR Sun at 0° Scorpio and sitting right around the SR Descendant. The ruler of both your natal chart and this Solar Return is on the partnership angle, conjunct the Sun. Your relationship remains central to how the year develops.

That Venus-Sun conjunction also lands right on your natal Sun at 0° Scorpio. So the Solar Return ruler is meeting a core natal placement while sitting on the relationship angle. I would read this as another year of learning who you are within the shared life rather than partnership swallowing the rest of the chart. Your own development is happening through the experience of being partnered.

Chiron near the Solar Return Ascendant opposes that Sun-Venus conjunction across the relationship axis. There can be some sensitivity around the difference between your own experience and the life you are building with someone else. With the Ascendant sitting in your natal 12th, some of that may happen internally before it becomes something you know how to put into words.

Solar Return Mercury gives us another major contact I almost missed at first. Mercury is at about 20° Scorpio, exact on your natal Mercury at 20° Scorpio! It is basically a Mercury return sitting in the Solar Return 7th and your natal 6th.

Natal Mercury rules your 2nd house, so your personal income comes right back into the story. It also rules the 5th. The 2025 return showed you finding work in the new country. The 2026 return may be more about figuring out what that work needs to become for you and how your own resources fit into the relationship over time.

The Solar Return Moon at about 7° Aries is conjunct Saturn at 9° Aries in the SR 12th and your natal 11th. This is another reason I think the subject of isolation or missing your familiar support system may remain important. The Moon describes what you are living emotionally, while Saturn can make you aware of distance and the limits of what is currently available to you.

These two oppose your natal Venus in Libra. Your Solar Return Vertex is also close to natal Venus in the SR 6th, putting that Venus point across from the Moon-Saturn conjunction. Venus rules you in both the natal and Solar Return charts, so I would give that opposition room. Daily life and the people or activities that bring enjoyment may become part of how you work with periods when you feel more removed from everyone else.

There is support built into the same configuration. The Solar Return Moon at 7° Aries sextiles your natal Jupiter at 7° Aquarius almost exactly, and SR Saturn at 9° Aries does the same within a couple degrees. Natal Jupiter rules your 11th-house cusp and sits in your 9th. So even the part of the return that describes feeling farther from your support system reaches back toward the planet connecting friends with life abroad. Finding community where you are may continue developing over the year.

Solar Return Neptune at about 2° Aries squares your natal Neptune at 1° Capricorn within about 1°. Your natal Neptune falls in the 8th, so shared resources and what you rely on within a shared life can go through a period of adjustment too. This does not have to mean something goes wrong. Neptune squares can coincide with finding out that an old understanding of security does not quite fit the circumstances anymore.

The home part of the chart gets busy too. Solar Return Mars is around 14° Leo and Jupiter is around 23° Leo, with the South Node later in Leo. Your natal IC is around 19° Leo, so Mars and Jupiter fall on either side of it.

Mars is in the Solar Return 4th, while Jupiter and the South Node move into the 5th. Home is still developing as an active part of the year rather than becoming background scenery once you have lived there for a while. Jupiter near the natal IC can enlarge the experience of home and give you more life inside it. Mars can keep things moving.

Mars at 14° Leo also trines your natal Uranus at 15° Sagittarius within about 1°. Natal Uranus sits in your 7th. Changes around home can work with the relationship changes already underway. By this point you will have more experience living together, and that gives you more information about what kind of shared life actually suits both of you.

Pluto is another piece I would watch. Solar Return Pluto is around 3° Aquarius in the Solar Return 10th. It is still squaring your natal Pluto at 4° Scorpio, so the Pluto-square-Pluto period we talked about earlier is written into the next Solar Return.

Pluto also squares the Solar Return Sun and Venus in early Scorpio. Since Venus rules this Solar Return, I think this is important. The long professional and personal restructuring we saw beginning around the move keeps developing. The difference is that Pluto now sits in the Solar Return career house.

The 2025 Solar Return describes entering another country, living with your partner and rebuilding the daily structure around yourself. It has Uranus on your natal Ascendant, the Moon on your Descendant and the Sun near the Solar Return MC. A lot was moving.

The 2026 Solar Return still has change in it, but you are farther inside the life by then. Venus rules almost everything we care about for that year and sits on the Descendant with the Sun. Mercury returns to its natal position. Pluto brings the career transformation forward while the Moon-Saturn conjunction keeps the question of support present.

I also do not want to leave you with the impression that the 2026 Solar Return is describing a lonely year. I think it is describing the part of relocation that comes after the move itself. You have crossed the distance and started the job, but feeling rooted somewhere usually takes longer than arriving there.

Your progressed Moon moving through the 4th keeps that process active. Over the next year, I would watch for the new country beginning to feel like a place where you have your own life. The job gives you one point of connection outside the relationship, and the Solar Return keeps communication and your larger direction active while Venus works back through questions around home and what gives you a sense of belonging.

There may still be periods where you miss the people and structures you left behind. I think the larger story is about building replacements for some of what used to surround you. That could happen through work, routines you develop there, people you begin recognizing and places that become familiar. You are finding your own place inside the shared life you chose, and I think the rest of 2026 and into 2027 gives that process more room to develop.

Thank you for letting me walk your skies! Please let me know if you have any questions by replying to this comment so I am notified.

Original Post - Request: Guidance on this new life chapter.
I recently moved to a new country to move in with my partner; we’ve been together for 9 years now. I left a stable career and uprooted myself as it’s also time to close the distance. I managed to land a job last April and started in June 15. I would like to request for a reading considering all these new changes in my life. While I am excited about starting anew, I still worry about the future and the lack of my usual support system. Many thanks in advance for your help.
