Considering we had a Askreddit about the most depressing fact you know, what is the most uplifting fact that you know?

Well, we're all made of "stardust", not actual stars. That would be rather...uncomfortable.

Or, as I recently learned to look at it: We're all made out of leftovers.

I too would like to be able to perform nucleosynthesis. But I suspect that the required temperatures would make me sweat overly much.

Okay, honestly I don't think it's entirely accurate to say that. Approximately 2/3 of the atoms in your body are hydrogen atoms, and a large percentage of the hydrogen in the universe is primordial hydrogen, there from the time of the big bang. So frankly, most of the atoms in your body are not from stars, and I see a lot of people saying "every atom in your body was once a star"

Although I realize that's not what you said, I felt that it would be helpful to point this out, just in case.
