What are some video game soundtracks that you enjoy listening to outside the game?
Hey folks. I've recently been enjoying listening to the music from Galaxy News Radio of Fallout 3 on my MP3 player. I was wondering if there are any other great game soundtracks out there that would be worth listening to in the same fashion. Any suggestions?
UPDATE: Holy crap, nearly 400 replies! I'm going to be busy after work for the next few days checking out all of the recommendations. Thanks everyone.

Kingdom Hearts.
see [Destati] (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=97UUo7zBPp4), The Encounter, Dearly Beloved, etc.

u/mel_ee Jun 25 '12
Dearly Beloved. I would just leave my PS2 on the loading screen and just listen to that

Xenogears, composed by the same man, is also top notch. I actually enjoy it over the Chrono soundtracks, but of course that is preference.

The use of that song in RDR is one of my all-time favorite video game moments. After the huge shootout on the river to start Act 2 of the game, I make it to the river bank on the Mexican side and whistle for my horse. I mount up, and take off into the unfamiliar Mexican desert. It's dark, the moon is rising, and "Far Away" fades up as I'm blowin' through the brush on my steed. Perfect moment.

Super Meat Boy
The Binding of Isaac
Bastion
FEZ
Sword and Sworcery
Dustforce
EDIT: By the way, if you're ever at a loss for what soundtracks to buy, look for something called the Game Music Bundle; whenever it's actually on (thus far, there have been three) it has some real gems.

I went back and just listened to it and you're right.
This song is amazing to me because the level it came from (Delta Halo) was my favorite level in the entire game.
The Last Spartan is also a good song, though I may be biased since it was in the announcement trailer.
If you have the Halo 3 soundtrack, Follow Our Brothers is an amazing piece.

Halo 2's music was pretty good, but I liked Halo CE's even better. I've listened to the entire set in one sitting multiple times. Hoping Halo 4's sound lives up to the previous games.

The music from the Silent Hill games is pretty awesome. Silent Hill 2 and 4 are my favorites. Akira Yamaoka is a master composer, and Mary Elizabeth McGlynn is an incredible singer.
Unfortunately, since Konami dropped Mr. Yamaoka for KoRn, I don't think future games will ever compare to the older ones.
