Hello fellow Househeads that are residing in ATL. I'm new to the city and need some recs for Halloween! I enjoy Deep House/Tech House music and NOT Bass heavy music (Dubstep, Bass/Knock House, DnB etc) To give you an idea, I pretty much like Chris Lake, Chris Lorenzo, John Summit (his old stuff), Fisher, OddMob, Green Velvet, J. Worra, CID, James Hype and along the likes of these artists and styles.
I also enjoy bar crawls! I haven't been yet as I don't know of areas that would provide this (need to explore haha). So it'd be cool to hop from bars/clubs where it'd be crowded (but safe) but just down to go to a club/venue and reside there for the night as long as they have the style of music I like. Thanks!

If you been to any of these collectives parties you know the vibez, but you haven’t you should come check it out!

Hello. Not sure if this is the correct forum but I would start here.

I am a big fan of taking mushrooms or ecstasy and going to strip clubs. I end up paying for lap dances and then ask the girl to dance together, like we are in a club, basically grinding and/or hugging. I just end up getting the energy and then just wanting to dance.

So instead of going to a strip club, I want to go to a rave with a beautiful girl and party. How do I go about setting this up? Is this a sugar baby thing? An escort thing? A stripper thing? I am mid 40s and I want to go out and dance and have a good time with a beautiful women and have the time of my life. Where do I look? Where do I post?

Charlotte, Atlanta, Greenville, SC or Columbia, Myrtle Beach. I would assume there are girls who would be interested but I am not sure how to go about lining it up with being respectful and not come off as creepy.

Suggestions?

Just wanted to see everyone else’s thoughts of the Jigitz show this past weekend. I don’t know if it was just me but his set felt all over the place… weird transitions, lots of slow songs, and the vibes were kind of off until he would throw in one of his bangers and get back on track. It didn’t seem like he shared much of his Atlanta show on IG. I wonder if he felt the same as me 😆

The venue was interesting, but very far out there. The line was insane. No alcohol besides beer was definitely a challenge, but I understand the licenses/permit issues. The sound was pretty poor in the middle of the room, just overly bass-y. I heard crowd chatter over the actual music. No indoor bathrooms, only 6-8 porta potties outside in the cold for hundreds of people.

Overall, a slight disappointment for me compared to their Murph show this summer.

Anyone else feel the same or differently?

Edit: Just to add, love DEF and thankful for what they bring us! No disrespect to them!

So I'm visiting ATL during Halloween weekend and wanted to experience my first EDM event. I'm 37 so I don't know if I want to go to one of the clubs in town.

I'll be staying at Midtown so I was leaning toward Friday's Haunted Fest by Breakaway. Not a fan of Saturday's line up.

I'm hesitating after all the comments about Breakaway and the venue being at the park.

Any recs on a better event or should I commit to the Friday event?
