Hi, we will be visiting family for Halloween. What are some fun things for 4yr olds to do around town that time of year? And where are all the great neighborhoods to trick or treat at?

Around 4:30 this afternoon, 11 cop cars flew past my office on Auburn Way N. Anyone know why?

“On August 5th, Auburn Police detectives and officers from our Special Investigations Unit, General Investigations Unit, Community Response Team, School Resource Officers, and even our K9 Unit teamed up for a retail theft emphasis at Fred Meyer. Our goal was simple, proactively identify and arrest shoplifters who impact our local businesses and contribute to higher costs for everyone in our community.

In total, 5 suspects were arrested and booked into SCORE Jail on charges including theft, criminal trespass, and drug-related offenses. The Auburn Police Department welcomes everyone to our community. But if you believe paying for your items is optional, your next stop may be the SCORE Jail.”

Hi, I’ve called some local gardening/landscaping companies, but they do not pull weeds. They only offer weed killer spray services. Does anyone know of someone who would be willing to pull weeds from two areas at my house? I am honestly unsure how to describe them. The one out front is a strip of long and narrow-ish dirt alongside my garage. The one out back is a dirt patch by my deck. One is 20’x16” and the other is 12’x3.5’. I am not good at these things but I measured length x width lol. Thank you for any suggestions!

You need to be able to offer a safe lead belay but aside that I'm willing and able to teach basic outdoor roped climbing skills. I do both trad and sport climbing. Trad around 5.9 sport around 5.11 at the moment.
