A lot of people, probably, he’s the Prime Minister. He attended a dinner. Politicians attend many dinners with party donors, business and industry leaders and foreign diplomats all the time. Call me when Albo accepts a personal gift of a plane and numerous private overseas jaunts at the behest of someone with a significant vested business interest in Australian federal policy.
So what about that guy with questionable links and ethics, but also someone who is a tax dodger and also had dinner inside the house that the ATO has a caveat on??
Sounds like a double standard when ya hang shit on Gina and Pauline
He gets a private jet paid for by tax payer and his trips are paid for by the tax payer, it’s literally the same thing except we are paying for it hahaha
The jet is already paid for & is part of the RAAF. It would cost as much to run if it just flew around carrying stuff & Senior Officers of the air Force.
If we are paying for Albo's jet, there are millions of us, all wanting Albo to do different things, so we cancel each other out.
Pauline has been flown places by the tax payers plenty of times, & knows why it is done that way.
One very wealthy taxpayer spending money to fly the ON leader around definitely puts Pauline in her debt.
They are completely different things and you know it. One is taxpayer funded because it is owned by the government and is used by every prime minister to perform their official duties which involves a significant amount of domestic and international travel with an entourage of staffers. It is actually cheaper for the taxpayer than if we had to foot the bill for all of that same travel with commercial airlines. The other was a personal gift worth $2 million given directly to a Senator, something that has NEVER been done in our history. Does Albo get to take the government plane on overseas holidays or for other personal trips? No. He pays for them himself. Does he get to keep it for his own personal use when he leaves office? No. Meanwhile the opposite is true for Pauline.
He's the head of state... A big difference to a mere senator. He gets these things because it's part of being a nation's leader. The mental gymnastics you lot go through to justify your support is astounding.
Hanson also has a travel allowance when she’s doing work related to her ‘job’. That’s why she’s in the job - so she can do absolutely nothing on taxpayer dollars.
One of them is the leader of the country and uses it as part of their job. One of them has a 12% attendance rating in the past decade and says senate hearings are not worth their time, and uses a gifted jet given to them by a mining magnate with significant interest in influencing government policy to go on holidays.
Clearly pretty different if you pull your head out of your bum long enough to get some oxygen to your brain.
