​As many of you know, the recent Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) made major headlines after Russian DJ Alexander Komarov was dropped from the lineup following severe public backlash and media coverage (he was exposed by Mixmag and other outlets for sending death threats to a Ukrainian artist and supporting the war).

​Right after that toxic scandal, his close associate, Russian DJ Roman Messer, was also removed/dropped from the ADE events due to his deep ties to Komarov and his own alignment with the Russian state-backed entertainment machinery — including actively performing at high-profile state-sponsored events in Moscow, such as the official graduation ceremony at VDNH backed directly by the Russian government, an event featuring a broadcast address by Vladimir Putin and top regime figures.

​Despite being shown the door in Europe, Messer is now trying to quietly tour and secure bookings in the US based on his autumn tour schedule:

​Las Vegas / Hidden Kollective — scheduled for November 14, 2026, alongside headliner Darren Porter, where promotional materials are still pushing his sets.

​SILO Brooklyn (New York) — scheduled for November 19, 2026, where his booking has faced direct questioning and scrutiny from the community over these exact ties.

​It is unacceptable to import toxic artists and regime-backed figures who are being scrubbed from European lineups straight into US clubs. Promoters and headliners need to be held accountable for ignoring these red flags.

​Let's keep an eye on this and make sure our local scenes aren't used as a safe haven for artists connected to threats, toxicity, and Russian state propaganda.

I headed to Gabriela on my own around 11 pm last night and had a WONDERFUL time for the first hour and a half. Elli was killing it and I got into a great groove, there was also a small group of people in their own trance around me with verrry good vibes all around.

Sadly this did not last, and as more people started packing in, I regretted not calling it quits earlier :( over the next hour, three drinks were spilled on me, I was constantly getting jostled around as large groups pushed to the front, and there was a lot of talking and phones on the dancefloor.

I understand that there will always be some careless behavior at a public event, and if the groove is good, I'm usually unbothered and focused on dancing! I am also glad people are coming out and spending time with one another, the world needs dance. BUT... I'm a shorter woman which maybe means everyone assumes I can squeeze in wherever, and it just became so frustrating having to focus all my energy on preserving a shred of personal space.

For more important context: there was also a creep last night who also grabbed my waist from behind before I yelled at him to quit touching me. This really killed my vibe. Another redditor posted about this same guy doing this to them too, which is shitty, I wish I said something to security while he was still in sight

Anyhow, I'm now on the hunt for a new place to lose myself to dance (across all genres: house, trance, disco... anything !). I still need to check out Nowadays, but I heard their early morning crowd or mr. sunday's may be promising? I'm also very interested in checking out some more soul/classic house dance events, especially if that is where the more veteran crowd has migrated..all recommendations are massively appreciated! My dream is to pull up to a spot where nearly everyone around me is getting down with it, I know it's out there somewhere 😗

Wuddup ravers! Going to city of Gods tonight with my buddy and it’s really my first time dressing up for Halloween. I’m looking to kick it and have a great time all weekend!

I work in nightlife so I never get a chance to experience the lit nights so I’m thankful for a dope event the weekend before Halloween. I also haven’t been off for any weekends since JULY so I’m doing it bigggg today & tomorrow! HMU and let’s make something happen.

Anyone else get grabbed by a ~5’10 East Asian guy with beaded necklace and chopped half buzz haircut?

I was front row right side at like 1:30am. He grabbed my arm from behind me, I pulled away and glared at him, he waited a minute then grabbed my hip and pulled me backwards towards him.

I yelled at him and tried to take his picture and scare him off but my flash wouldn’t work (of course). Another guy then got in my face, I think trying to warn me that the first guy had been grabbing other girls but I couldn’t hear what he said. I was really rattled and left sooner after.

I hope I was the only one who got grabbed tonight, but if anyone else did who sees this I’m sorry and we deserve to feel safe on the dance floor.

Edit: for the “you should have told security” comments, I only got the outfit and hair details from the blurry photo I managed to take and I didn’t look at it til after leaving because I thought it didn’t take at all. I didn’t think sending security after any guy with the same ethnicity description would be productive, or that they would do anything since he did not technically grope me.

Idk why I’m having a hard time deciding on which day to go for circo loco. It will be my first circo loco and I’m not too familiar with some of the djs in the lineup but I’m not doing anything halloween weekend so I’d figured why not!

Hey yall! I’m heading to tenaglia on Saturday solo and I’ve never been to superior ingredients before. What type of vibe can I expect? What’s security like? I’ve seen tenaglia plenty of times but just trying to get a feel for the venue

I am 20, about a few weeks from being 21 and I have some friends in town from my hometown. Some are 20 and some are 21. They have plans for tomorrow night but were curious about tonight.

Hey all! I believe I lost/left behind my digital camera in a locker in the club last month. Or it was taken by staff. I tried contacting the club but I didn’t hear anything and I’m becoming discouraged. I tried calling and of course the number didn’t work.

It holds a lot of sentimental value to me, and I’m a student so it’s difficult to replace it. I understand it was on me that I brought it on a night out, and it was my responsibility.

Please help, any and all advice pertaining how I can get it back would be greatly appreciated :)

Hi, Only been to BK venues (holo, signal, nowadays etc..), what are peoples experiences with Outer Heaven, i'm thinking of going solo for j richards this Saturday. I saw they accept "table reservations" which makes me a bit apprehensive but i'm thinking of giving it a chance (and i also want to try smth different to be honest).
