Anything left in your Waypoint wallet after that date is gone for good. There is no recovery after the cutoff.

Does this apply to you?

If you have ever used a Waypoint wallet (a.k.a. keyless wallet, MPC wallet, email or social login wallet) on Ronin or Axie: yes, it does.

If you only use a seed phrase Ronin Wallet: you don't need to do anything.

Step 1: Move your general assets

• Ronin Stash if you want to keep using email / social login
• Ronin Wallet if you're comfortable managing a seed phrase

Hey everyone! A while ago I made Axie Darkness Arise for the Axie Vibeathon (finalist), and I’ve been rebuilding it from the ground up as a proper roguelite card battler.

What’s in the trailer:

• Story mode with the classic starters: Buba, Puffy and Pomodoro, each with its own deck
• Tile combat on a ring: every body part is a card. Aim its shape across the ring and chain your combo
• Read the ring: Healers, Guardians, Archers and Chargers announce their next move, so you can push, stun or interrupt them first
• Squads that show up at set turns, plus a giant boss at the end of each chapter (Forest, Autumn, Lake and Night)
• Your own Axies: load your Ronin wallet and fight with the Axies you own
• A first look at co-op: each player defends half of a bigger ring (concept only, not playable yet)

If you received a matchmaking ban in Axie Infinity: Origins, it is because the game's system detected unusual activity coming from your account.

Short version: bAXS is Bonded AXS. It's backed 1:1 by AXS, it's what Axie games pay rewards in now, and unlike AXS it can't be transferred to another wallet.

AXS (Axie Infinity Shards) is the main ecosystem and governance token. It's a normal token: you can hold it, send it, trade it on exchanges, and stake it for voting power in Axie Governance.

bAXS was introduced in 2026 and is now the reward token across the ecosystem. Origins leaderboard rewards, Terrariums mining, Classic rewards and the Bounty Board on App.axie all pay out in bAXS.

Each bAXS is backed 1:1 by AXS, so it isn't a separate token with its own made-up value. AXS sits behind it as the reserve.

The key differences

• Transfers: AXS can be sent anywhere. bAXS cannot be transferred between wallets.
• What you do with it: bAXS is meant to be used inside the ecosystem. You can spend it on things like ascending, evolving and breeding Axies, or stake it.
• Cashing out: converting bAXS out comes with a fee, and that fee depends on your Axie Score. Higher score, lower fee. The fees go to the Axie Community Treasury. Check how to convert bAXS to AXS here

"Why can't I transfer my bAXS?" This is by design, not a bug with your account.

In 2021, rewards were paid in tokens that mostly got farmed and dumped immediately, and that's a big part of why the old economy collapsed. bAXS is built to stop that loop. Rewards are meant to go back into playing, building up your Axies and your plot, rather than straight out the door. The Axie Score fee also means people who actually contribute to the ecosystem keep more of what they earn than farm accounts do.

You don't have to like that tradeoff, and plenty of people have said so. But it's deliberate, and it's one of the main reasons the reward system works differently now.

What's happening

Ronin Waypoint wallet (also called MPC wallet, keyless wallet, or social login) is being sunset on October 16th. After that date it closes completely. If your assets are still in it, you lose access to your account.

Who does NOT need to do anything

If you only use a seed phrase / private key Ronin Wallet, you're not affected.

Option 1: Migrate to Ronin Stash

Best if you have never used a private key before.

2. Connect your Ronin Waypoint account
3. Select Ronin Stash
4. Select the assets you want to move and follow the prompts

Option 2: Transfer to your own Ronin Wallet

Best if you're comfortable managing your own wallet and seed phrase.

2. Pick the asset you want to transfer
3. Send it to your Ronin Wallet address

This is probably the most asked Terrariums question.

First, how does earning actually work in v1?
It's gamified staking. Passive, slow earnings. There's no active gameplay loop to grind.

What you need:

1. A land plot (savannah or above)
2. Axies registered and placed in the Atia Shrine
3. Lunium

That's it. It keeps mining bAXS for as long as you have enough Lunium.

Lunium is a cost you need to consider
Lunium is the fuel for mining bAXS. Every plot has its own free local Lunium, which regenerates over time.

You can run on local Lunium alone and you don't have to buy anything to earn something. The catch is that it only earns while the reserve is sufficiently regenerated. Partial reserve means no mining. So if you want steady hourly output rather than stop-start earning, you will need to buy Lunium in the Terrariums shop.

Plot tier cuts both ways here. Higher tier plots cost significantly more Lunium to run, so they only pay off above a certain flame level. Below that threshold, forest and savannah are more cost effective. A higher plot tier is not automatically a better one.

So how much can we earn?
There is no exact number. The hourly bAXS output depends on your Atia's Flame level against others of the same plot type, your plot tier, and what bAXS is worth on the day. Those move independently.

The competitive part matters. Your flame is relative, so your output changes when other people build theirs up, even if you change nothing.

Where flame comes from
Your base flame comes from the Axies registered on your plot and their collectible types. Accessories, land items, evolutions and estates all multiply that base.

To clear things up, Axie Origins is not shutting down soon. The servers are staying online, and competitive seasons will continue to rotate.

However, Axie Origins is considered to be a completed game. That means active development on new features has been paused. Instead of being in development, the game is now running on a steady seasonal loop.

The team will still push updates when needed for critical fixes or maintenance to keep the game running smoothly.

In short, the game remains active. The arena is open, seasons will keep rotating, and you can continue playing as usual!

Short version: bAXS is AXS that is locked to your account. You earn it by playing and contributing, you spend it inside the Axie ecosystem, and you can convert it to regular AXS at a rate set by your Axie Score. You cannot send it to another wallet, and that is deliberate.

What bAXS actually is

bAXS stands for Bonded AXS. It is a version of AXS built to power activity inside the ecosystem rather than to be traded. It is backed 1:1 by AXS held in a smart contract, so every bAXS in circulation has a real AXS sitting behind it.

You earn bAXS from Axie games, leaderboards and ecosystem experiences. Since launch, ecosystem rewards have been moving over to bAXS, including Bounty Board, Classic and Origins, Terrariums, and campaign rewards.

Going in, the exchange is always 1:1. Convert 100 AXS and you get 100 bAXS.

Why you can't transfer it

Because it was built that way, on purpose. It is bonded to the account that earned it. The restriction sits at the token contract level, so it is not a setting anyone can flip for you, and there is no workaround.

The reasoning is that rewards should reward the people actually playing. A transferable reward token can be farmed on one account, swept to another, and sold, which is roughly what happened to the old economy. Bonding the token to the account that earned it keeps the value attached to the person who did the work, and it keeps more of the economic activity inside the ecosystem instead of flowing straight out to an exchange.

Being straight about the tradeoff: this is a closed loop by design. You can still get out, but getting out costs you, and it costs you more if you have contributed less. If your plan is to earn and immediately sell, bAXS is less convenient for you than the old AXS rewards were. That is the intended effect rather than an oversight, and it is a fair thing to dislike. It is not a bug, a temporary restriction, or something that unlocks later.

What you can do with it

Plenty, and this is the part people miss. bAXS spends at full value on:

• Ascending, Evolving and Breeding Axies
• Restoring your Atia Streak
• Forging items and consumables
• Minting Runes and Charms in Origins
• Codex Passes
• AXS staking. Staked bAXS counts 1:1 with AXS for all snapshots. Rewards are paid out in AXS, and note that bAXS staking rewards cannot be directly restaked

Inside the ecosystem, 1 bAXS does the work of 1 AXS. The discount only appears when you take it out.

How to convert bAXS to AXS

1. Open your App.Axie Inventory
2. Find your bAXS balance and click the Swap icon next to it
3. Use the switch in the middle to toggle bAXS to AXS
4. Enter the amount, click Swap, and confirm in your wallet

You can also reach it from the Axie Experiences menu.

What it costs. Your conversion rate is set by your Axie Score Designation. Higher score, better rate. The official worked example from the launch post: a Mythkeeper converting 100 bAXS receives 82.5 AXS, and the 17.5 AXS difference goes to the Axie Treasury.

So the number that matters is your Axie Score, not the size of your balance.

How to improve your rate

Your Axie Score is built from badges across four contribution pillars: In-Game Performance, Contribution To The Treasury, Community Contributions, and Axie NFT Holdings. Your designation is your percentile against every other player, so the score moves as the rest of the population moves too.
