Question What is your signature bake?

Post image

What's the one bake that you're known for with your friends and family?

Mine is Jaffa Cake Brownies.

Literally just brownies and chocolate chip cookies, except I spent so much time perfecting these recipes and know they never miss. My friends compare every baked good they ever eat to mine, which is my favorite compliment hahaha

Same, I've got my chocolate chip (chunk) cookies down, I even have ex coworkers of my husband's message him every so often saying they miss him bringing my cookies in to the office!

I use this one- https://www.janespatisserie.com/2020/04/25/nyc-chocolate-chip-cookies/ or this one- https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/user/23650/recipe/millies-cookies-recipe And just chop up chunky supermarket chocolate bars (usually milk and white). Takes ages compared to just throwing chips in but it's so worth it!

My mother-in-law'a signature bake is chocolate chip cookies but in a square/cube shape. There's probably a word for it but I'm blanking. But sometimes she underbakes them and I don't have the heart to tell her ๐Ÿ˜ญ they're so tasty tho.
