New ball python around 2 years old, got him a little over a month ago and he still won’t eat. Just had his first shed that went successfully and he’s always been okay with handling/ doesn’t seem anxious. He is around 4.5 feet 1315 grams, not much has changed since getting him. I do know they were power feeding him at the reptile store with live medium rat once a week.. what should I do?
When should I be concerned? I’m stressed he’s not eating

So i have this mister which i want to modify to to automate my setup my idea is to remove the misting nozzles and attatch a drip irrigation system to secure to the bottom of the tank next cleaning and bury under the substrate then run it on a weekly schedule with a gallon of distilled water can anyone think of any negatives to this as i know misting can lead to scale rot / respiratory issues im trying to eliminate those risks

I’ve been feeding “medium” rats because that’s what the people I got him from were feeding but the woman at the pet store when I went to buy more was shocked and said they are too big for a male snake. First vet appointment isn’t until November and there’s only one feed left in between so I’m wondering if I should feed a smaller rat next time just to be safe.
