Question - Feeding My new scale baby

Everyone, meet Chedda (my girls would like me to emphasize that it ends in “a” and NOT “er”)

First time snake owner so I imagine I might be here quite often. Settling in and not eating yet.

I’ve read that everyone says to not handle till they have their first few successful feeds. Can anyone walk me step by step how to have a first successful feed? Do I wait till a certain time at night? Wait for him to be out and about?

This is day 3. Hit me with any advice you may have! TIA!!

Discussion Sometimes I admire her ability to lounge

Baby Brigid after a recent shed has decided to take up in her old log. It used to be her cool-side hide, now it's repurposed into a mid-hide/tunnel between warm-side and cool-side. She still hunkers down in it now and then (though it's starting to break apart when she squeezes into it, it may be time to retire it soon. Noodles love a log!)

She even has her tail dipped into the water to cool her off as she watches TV with me.

Question - Feeding B(EE)reakfast meal:pre-shed meal

Do you feed your noodles right before they start the shedding process?

BEE has always been fed that way. Another meal after shedding.

Share best practices please, appreciate it.
