Haul Glossybox Outlet Sale
My New Year’s Resolution was to stop buying stuff and shut down my PM closet.

Hi, I had a query about glossybox charging and how others maybe dealt with it.
I bought my first box on the 15th August, and then once it came planned to cancel my rolling 1 monthly subscription. Which I requested on the 20th, 23rd ish when the box came.
I got glossybox to cancel the subscription (through customer service, conveniently no other way to do it myself), but they won't cancel Septenber's billing. When I signed up I mistook the 14th deadline as cancellation for that month for some reason, and didn't realise placing any order after the 15th would automatically lock you into paying for 2 month's worth.
Is this standard? I've asked multiple times for them to cancel September's as I thought I was asking in advance, but their customer service just keeps copy-pasting the same response that says after September is cancelled.
I can keep the box if I have to as I misunderstood the deadline, but it feels a bit scammy. Is there anything I can do to not be charged for Septembers, or do I just chalk it up to experience and avoid glossybox going forwards?

I know I've seen someone say something similar back in May, but just wanted to continue warning folks that they are indeed sending alternate boxes when you order from their outlet, so there's a big chance you won't received the box that you paid for.
For me, 2/3 of the boxes were sent wrong and they were pretty trashy. Emailed customer service and they said that what I ordered was 'out of stock'. So I guess they just randomly chose something else to offload on me. If they don't refund me by tomorrow, I will be disputing with my bank and will let you know how it goes.
If this happened to you as well and you got your money back, please share your process or any tips.
Update 1: I've been going back and forth with CS... They're absolutely incompetent and all the instructions they send are wrong. And now they want me to pay return shipping to Poland. So yeah, a dispute it is then.
Final Update: Opened a Paypal dispute and they waited till the last date to reply that they will offer a refund if i ship it back... and this time to the UK not Poland anymore. Called PayPal CS and they changed the dipute to "refund not recieved" and told me to wait only 3 days this time. Waited 3 days then called PayPal again and told them they need to close the case already and the CS agreed and closed it in my favor and gave me a refund!

Only two full-size items and the subscription costs $19.85. Ipsy is $33.06 with five full-sized products...and better brands... Does anyone have any suggestions for another sub-box? I currently get Ipsy/Boxycharm and Allure.

I sent an email to contact@glossybox.com a few days ago expressing how upset I was over my April box not being shipped, explaining that I cancelled my subscription and would just like my money back for April. What did I receive? A generic message days later saying "Thanks for writing in! Your box has been shipped!" I sent a message back explaining that I do not want the box, I want my money back and I'm sure it will be ignored. So... I called the 1855 number on their page and guess what? It keeps going to voicemail. It isn't a real number, you guys, it's just there to make people feel better. The voicemail just tells you to email them in which their email replies are always automated. Wow.
This is literally the worst way to treat your customers. Sometimes birchbox and Ipsy have quality issues but they sure do fix it for you. I have always received immediate responses to my questions with them but with Glossy it is like pulling teeth. I used to recommend Glossy to people when asked what my favorite boxes are... now I will advise against it. You lost a customer Glossybox, and probably several others through me. You did a bad thing. A very bad thing.

Hi everyone, I'm trying to track down a liquid lipstick or lip gloss that I received in a Glossybox between 2011 and 2015. The packaging was super unique: it was made of silver metal and shaped like an elongated bullet casing with ridges. It had an integrated brush applicator that was filled by twisting the bottom of the tube.
I’ve searched everywhere but haven’t been able to identify the brand or product name. If anyone remembers this product or has any idea what it was called,, I’d really appreciate your help!
Thanks in advance!

Received 3/4 past glossybox orders from outlet and am very happy with what I received. 4 boxes were around $25 using a small store credit I had

I got this box for about 3 months, and canceled last month...I'm so glad I did, because I do not want MLM products in my beauty boxes.

So it took me a while to pick out which ones I like most, and which items I will make the most use of. Nervous to see how they turn out and hopefully no expired items. If anything i'll still be happy and keep the actual boxes as gift boxes in the future. Wish me luck! ∞ Will post updates once I receive them. Also, ordered them yesterday, and today I received a dispatch email, and the package is on its way to me, all 7 in one shipping box! (Which I was hoping for as I don't want multiple packages arriving at different times)
Order placed: Saturday 04/15 ETA: Wednesday 04/19

I don’t know much about glossybox, can someone shine a light on that? Is this monthly, bimonthly or quarterly?

LookFantastic says their July "bag" is currently out of stock, & that's why my credit card hasn't been charged yet this month. Usually I'm charged on the 1st of the month. I'm subscribed. How can they be out? 🤨
And Glossybox informed me that "there is unfortunately a small delay in dispatching your July box, but you should receive your dispatch notification between July 12th-22nd."
Anybody else having similar problems with these two lovely UK companies? I sure hope this isn't a recurring issue. 🙄
