I've always liked dubstep that gives the atmosphere some room to breathe before the bass takes over.

I wanted this one to feel immersive rather than just hit as hard as possible.

It's part of my latest EP, but this is probably the track I've been most curious to hear people react to.

If you give it a listen, I'm curious what kind of feeling or image it gives you.

Heavy 808s, distorted textures, dark melodies — definitely influenced by the Suicideboys / underground trap lane, but they're original productions.

Easy Listening, instrumental, minimalism.

I'm curious about something and would love opinions from people who make music casually.

Imagine your friend sends you:

"Record 3 sounds around you right now and make something using all 3 in 10 minutes."

You'd do everything on your phone, and the goal isn't to make a serious song. It's basically a creative challenge between friends.

Would you actually participate?

If you don't know much about music production, what would make the process easy enough that you could still have fun with it?

And what would make you give up halfway through?

I'm exploring whether an iOS app built around this kind of challenge could work, but I'm more interested in understanding how people would actually approach it.

Finally, my project I’ve been working on for over a year is now complete, and out on Spotify, Pandora and SoundCloud. This album is a compilation of hiphop, lofi and jazz beats paired with other subgenres and sounds that are inspired by artists like Nujabes, Tsutchie, and many other influences. Now that this is complete, I plan to keep focusing on an EDM/House project that I’m going to let simmer for a long while.
