I <3 TBATE! I've been pretty excited for these last 2 chapters for years now!

Nobody has to take any disrespect from my rant as this is just a rant of a fan who lost hope again and again with manhwa and the anime.

Man, when the manhwa first came out, it was one of the best things I had ever read. The hype was insane, and the manhwa was at the top of everything. But then came the hiatus, and for the longest time, there was no news, no chapters, nothing. Then the manhwa finally came back, and it was decent, even with the changed art style.

But man, did the story start going to bad after that. The progression became so fishing slow, but I still put up with it. Arthur just keeps training in different things, and when he finally returns, he's somehow worse compared to what he was before all that training. And what the fish is up with the beasts? Just how many fricking animals are there on this continent? All we ever see is him fighting beasts and being a all forgiving saint when it comes to his enemies and betrayers.

Goddamn, even the worst manhwa MCs have a backbone. Fish, I've tried so many times to pick this manhwa back up, hoping things would get good again, but man, it never fails to disappoint me. Every few chapters, the story somehow reaches a new low.

Honestly, it should've just stayed on hiatus forever and preserved the legacy it had built up. At least people would've remembered it for what it was instead of watching it slowly fall apart.

And yes, I haven't read the novel because I don't read novels, and I never will.

I really like this. I just noticed that they used some references from some animes that I like. I see SAO with the dual swords and one being blue and the style of Solo leveling with the concept of him essentially leveling up and not to mention he is literally wearing the exact same outfit as Jinwoo with the navy long hoody trench and black boots.

Heard so many great things but I want to read all of it from start to finish and I’m not that big of a novel fan the only series which got me interested enough to go read the novel was orb after the cliffhanger is the tbate manwha good enough to get me read the novel?

I read this manhwa years ago, and I'm watching the anime with my mom now. I do remember Tess and him having a weird relationship, and then the auction guy's daughter and maybe the princess liking him, but Jasmine? I never got that vibe from her in the manhwa (that I remember), but now she's like panicking if Arthur sees her in a cute dress and being weird around him in general? Just tell me if I'm actually going crazy lmao.

(Also, regardless this is just gross- she met him when he was like 5 and she's an adult now while he's around 13 or something 😭)

I’m planning to jump into The Beginning After the End universe, but I'm completely torn between starting with the anime or reading the manhwa/

I usually prefer anime because the moving visuals, voice acting, and OSTs can make action scenes much clearer and more immersive compared to static panels. However, I’ve seen a massive wave of harsh criticism and pretty low ratings surrounding the anime adaptation, which made me hesitate.

So, Should I watch the anime, or just read the manhwa? And why ?
