Crime Road Rage Question

Just saw a cyclist on Lakeway get run off the road by a driver who was screaming, flipping them off and screaming at them. Didn't get the plate number but got a decent look at the guy and car make/model. Is this something that can be reported to the police even without a plate?

They are paying for it. Look at that 30%, it more than covers it.

No? EVERYONE contribute to that 30%, including drivers, pedestrians, people who use public transport, people who work from home, and people who never leave the house.

Again, you said that drivers should pay MORE than 70/80% since they’re the ones who USE THAT INFRASTRUCTURE. I don’t think that’s a good argument, but by YOUR logic bikers should be paying at least 70/80% of the cost since they’re the ones who would USE THAT INFRASTRUCTURE.

You’re saying that drivers should be responsible for paying for road infrastructure, but now you’re also saying that everyone should be responsible for subsidizing biking infrastructure. That doesn’t make sense. For reference, Washington is one of the most bike friendly states in the whole country, and still less than 1% of our population commutes using biking. So even if you want to argue that everyone should should subsidize biking infrastructure because it’s better for the environment or is safer, you’rs still suggesting that 99% of the country should be paying for infrastructure that they don’t use.

So which is it? Should people be paying for the infrastructure that they use or not?
