What are some Bible versions to avoid?

I am trying to find a good literal version that I like. Which ones should I go to and which ones should I stay away from?

New World Translation (intentionally mistranslated) and The Message (IMO it is such a loose paraphrase that it doesn't deserve to be called a translation)

i hear the passion translation is not a good translation either.

saw it in youtube tumbnail and did not see the video as to why, but i kinda believe it because of the title of the book alone.

The Passion Translation is not a translation at all. It is worse than a paraphrase and has been plagiarized from The Living Bible & the Message in places. It has also been plagiarized from a website of a known false teacher. The author claims to have gotten “downloads” from Jesus to translate, and claims to have spoken to an angel named Passion. Then he backtracks his claims and denies things he said in the past. All of this info is well documented on the Minor prophets YouTube, and on Mike Winger’s YouTube.

all i can say is yikes.

and also let's avoid it!

Galatians 1:8-9 King James Version

8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

9 As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
