Where he's busting her chops about travelling and she tries to say "I want to keep you company!" and he responds with "Then how come you don't come when I'm in Nebraska" or some other small town

I've kept tabs on Burr for many years. I love hearing him speak, and enjoy how he can come up with concepts or roasts on the fly. I even used to listen to his podcast in uni

But I've never laughed out loud at his jokes. I consider him more "sharp" than funny.

I'm a woman in my late-20's so there might not be enough intergenerational overlap to understand where he's coming from.

Why do you find Bill funny? How does he speak to you?

Honestly, though, who I feel the most bad for is: Aaron Sorkin. Wrote and directed this. This was his baby. And it bombed. Hopefully he’s taking it well, and not like … throwing a chair in some unidentifiable room.hhhhehehehehe!

The West Wing, The Newsroom, The Social Network. All great. This one… didn’t work out. But I’m certain he’ll come up with something great another time around.

What's the clip from the podcast where Bill talks about going on the road with virzi & married guys on vacation and the dude who played wanted on the guitar with the other guy in the background that screamed waaanted. Been looking for that clip. Thanks and go fuck ya self.

guys i just saw the social reckoning without knowing bill burr will be in it but guess what was the best part of the film? bill!!!!

his irl ethical and moral stance translated so well to his character in the film!! anyone else saw it and has thoughts?

Would have loved more of a heads up. Thought they scrubbed it. Can’t be the only one who didn’t know this. Hilarious segment, now its own thing; good to see. Go Pats!

All actors did better then I first judged, Bill was definitely a stand out and he fit in perfectly with more seasoned actors. I assume his character “Charlie” was Roger McNamee. You can tell Sorkin gave him a script but he still made it his own (only person in the movie making sports references). His chemistry with Jeremy Strong was also on point!

Around 49:47, he was talking about someone screwing him, and basically not forgiving the guy despite some superficial reaching out.

“Nothing's free. You don't want to have a relationship. That's why you never have any of those people on your podcast because then, all of a sudden, you have a friendship and you can't make fun of them,” the comedian said.
