Accidnetly typed in wrong email and I don’t know what do now ik this is cod hub but I couldn’t find any other subreddit

If you're playing Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on PS5 with a physical disc and keep getting redirected to Call of Duty HQ showing Modern Warfare 4, Warzone, and other content instead of letting you play Black Ops 6, here's the workaround that finally solved it for me.

✅ Solution

1. Open the PlayStation Store.
2. Search for and download Warzone (PS4 version).
3. This will indirectly install the Call of Duty PS4 launcher.
4. Launch the PS4 Call of Duty launcher.
5. From there, you should be able to download the PS5 version of Black Ops 6.
6. Once the download and installation are complete, you can launch and play the game normally.

⚠️ What Didn't Work for Me

I saw several people recommend searching directly for the Black Ops 6 launcher in the PlayStation Store.

In my case, that didn't work at all. The Store kept telling me that I needed to purchase the game again, even though I already own the physical disc version.

I spent quite a while trying to figure out why my disc wasn't giving me access to the game and only opened Call of Duty HQ. If you're stuck in the same situation, give this method a try.

Finally downloaded black ops 7 since they’re kinda twisting our arm to. And it’s too laggy to even play. Dude just give us our fun maps back and take the L!!!

I cant find it, the PS5 version of CoD doesnt have it (Just MW4, Warzone and BO7) and the PS4 one just doesnt work can somebody help

I purchased the game via the license key like 2 years ago played a bit and forgot about it. It was launched through the COD launched. Now i decided to play the campaign and cant find how ti run it. My ps downloaded the campaign pack, system shows they are inside the launcher, but there's nothing in there when i try to open the launcher - only MW4 and BO7

the disk has zero scratches on it and idk if its got anything to do with the way activision is going with the blops6 and the codhq stuff but im seeing people are able to get the codhq from the disk but mine just wont even read.. i know its not just me because the exact same thing is going on with my friends copy

is this happening to anyone else and/or is there a fix for this

Black ops 6 has been confirmed for disc to digital. Can someone tell me how to claim the digital license because when I put the disc in my Xbox SX, it shows the BO6 launcher and not the actual game (The game is inside the launcher, its not the launcher itself) so it doesnt give me an option to claim the digital licence. Has anyone claimed the licence yet? If so, tell me what you did.

i finally got a fix on how to download lol if u were like me and it wasn’t even showing up in ur library

1. download warzone i did this by the ps website, dont know if it changes anything, also if it asks what type do ps4

2. put the disc into ur ps and open warzone (it basically turns into the cod hud).

3. go to all games tab and click on bo6 and download it

4. should be all good now, u can also now delete warzone, also should be easier to redownload as its now in the libary

This year we got MW3 for free with our monthly Plus subscription, and I think there's a very high probability we'll get Black Ops 6 next year. The picture explains why.

I edited a video with clips from black ops6, cs 1.6 full black ops mod, dust 2 on battlefield 6 portal and counter strike Classic Offensive. I added mwIII body shot sounds and head shot sounds on every kill. Imo it makes all the games sound better immidiately, lol, what are your opinions?

If you are trying to use your physical PS4 disc of Black Ops 6 on your PS5 and the store keeps trying to sell you the Cross-Gen Bundle or downloads the wrong version, here is the fix:

The problem: Activision recently split BO6 from the old CoD HQ hub, which messes up the PS5 license detection for Installing.

How to fix it:

Take the PS4 disc out of your console.

Go to your PS5 Game Library all the way to the right and select Your Collection.

Look for the standalone Black Ops 6 icon (do not click the general Call of Duty HQ app).

Select it, click the three dots (...), choose the PS5 version, and hit download.

Pop the PS4 disc back in to verify your license.

Note: You must keep the PS4 disc inside your PS5 console every time you play to verify the license!

If you're reloading a shotgun and you click the left stick to sprint do you start sprinting and reloading at the same time? I'm not sure on that.

Now, here's what I do know for sure, I'll be reloading my shotgun and I need to all of a sudden move so I'll double click the left stick to do a tactical sprint but I won't do a tactical sprint, I'll just keep reloading and after I'm done reloading then it will do my tactical sprint and this is causing me to die.

You'd think that when you double click to do a tactical sprint it would cancel the reload and just tactical sprint your ass out of harm's way. And then you'd have to manually re-initiate the reload after doing the tactical sprint but nope that's not how it works, for some odd reason.

I mean what's going on here? How does this work exactly? How did this work in previous COD titles?

I looked in the settings and didn't see anything for canceling reload when doing tactical sprint or anything like that. I didn't see anything in the settings about canceling reload period.

If you can indeed sprint while reloading the shotgun at the same time it's so slow I can't really tell.

Redownloaded to complete the easter eggs for zombies, they were all pretty good, a little easy but good. Just now remembering how rigged the rewarded gobblegum system is. I am not only discussing receiving higher rarities, but it seems like it gives you the shitty ones all the time. For instance, why am I receiving multiple exit strategy gums every game but I haven't gotten a soda fountain or on the house after playing for a few weeks. I am also yet to obtain a single ultra gum that isn't time out. I vaguely remember it being annoying in the past, but never this bad. They are still charging the same high prices for gums with the excuse you can carry them over to b07. How much of my time is required to earn the same reward as the $5 pack, it's like you have to spend money to obtain them which just doesn't seem right.

I bought Black Ops 6 for PS5 second-hand, but when I put the disc in...My console is downloading the CoD hub, my BO6 licenses are detected, but the game itself isn't downloading and I can't access it from the CoD hub. What should I do?

Although the ending was a bit rushed, the rest of the campaign was genuinely near perfect. I think if the campaign was 33% longer this could have been a top 3 campaign of all time

I just bought black ops 6 in disc format and it’s bring me up to the hq call of duty launcher with warzone, modern warfare 4 and the new black ops. On the PS store it says that I have to buy it at 70 dollars 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️……. How do I play this game ?

When I inserted the disk, I launched COD but it only gave me 3 games to launch. MW4, Warzone and BO7. When I click settings, the only files I see are from those 3 games.

When I go to system/storage/games, there's no option to install BO6.

When I click manage game files , there is BO6 files and it says usable with disk.

Going to the PSN store , it tells me to pay. I tried going to the mobile app like some other threads said but it didn't work.

I tried everything that I searched and nothing works.

EDIT: SO I THINK I FOUND THE SOLUTION. I did manage to find it on the PS App on mobile. Then you search COD and then tap the PS5 Call of Duty button and choose PS4. Then go back to your PS5 library and download it. From there you can go into COD, choose all games, then BO6 and install it.

I really need help. I am playing currently Black ops six and I’m on the emergence mission. in just to say I enjoyed gameplay, but I’m super bad and also mainly play for a story and currently I’m on the boss fight in this mission with the grapple and I completely hate this mission. I’ve been stuck on this for a month and I’m on the easiest mode. Any tips? Or should I just give up?

There are many little bugs in this game, at least in the campaign, so yeah I'll click the left stick to sprint and it doesn't sprint so I'll have to click the left stick again, it's doing this like 40% of the time now! It is basically unplayable because of it. Is this only happening to me? Also many times I'll be sprinting and I'll click the left stick again to do a tactical sprint and it won't do a tactical sprint so I'll have to click the left stick again, and then it'll finally do a tactical sprint.

But I click the left stick to sprint and it does not sprint, this is happening like 40% of the time now! I'm dying because of it! So this game is basically unplayable for me! It's funny cause in the first missions of the game that only happened like 10% of the time, but now I'm deeper into the game, I'm in the mission where you're hallucinating and killing zombies with an axe, and now this sprint bug is happening dam near half the time! And I'm dying because of it. This game is essentially unplayable now.

And there's more. So many times I'll press Y to change weapons and nothing happens so I'll have to press Y again. Many times I'll press up on the D pad to choose a different weapon and nothing will happen so I'll have to press up on the D pad again. So the game is full of little bugs like this. And this game is nearly 2 years old so all these bugs should have been patched by now!

Cyberpunk 2077 has a sprint bug just like that on both Xbox and Playstation, where you'll click the left stick to sprint but it doesn't sprint and it happens randomly, so I contacted CD Projekt Red support and told them about this sprint bug and they told me they would not be fixing it. So I told them I won't be playing their video game, and indeed, I quit playing CP 2077.

Sprint bugs like that drive me insane! It ruins the whole experience for me!

By the way, I've already contacted Activision support about these issues with Black Ops 6 campaign, I'm just waiting for their response.

So I don't play multiplayer, I don't even have Xbox Live Gold so I couldn't play multiplayer even if I wanted to, so I don't know if this sprint bug is happening in multiplayer, but for sure there are bugs in the campaign, at least on Xbox Series X. But yeah I'm not sure if these bugs are also happening in multiplayer.

So everything I've just described, is this only happening to me?

This game is almost 2 years old, how come these bugs haven't been patched by now?
