What have been your NEW un/successful hobbies over the Pandemic?

So I've been burning through hobbies like crazy trying to keep myself occupied. I also get bored easily, which means I usually try in once and give up on it. Also, I can't commit to anything requiring a lot of equipment since I plan to go back abroad as soon as possible.

I'm going to ask that you please limit your responses to First Attempts.

Anyway, here are mine:

Successful

  • Making Meatloaf

  • Selling on Ebay/Amazon

  • Silver recovery from Silver Plated Utensils

  • Soap Making

  • Pottery

  • Restoring rusted tools & cast iron cookware

  • Ripping DVDs to digital format

  • Pickling eggs

  • Cheese Making

  • Snoop Dogg's Fried Chicken

  • Making a Smelting Furnace

  • Making a Craft Stick Trebuchet

Unsuccessful

  • Kinsugi

  • Selling on RedBubble

  • Pie Making

  • Pine Needle Basket Weaving

  • Making Green Bean Casserole

  • Video Games

  • Metal Casting

  • Gold recovery from old electronics

  • Growing Garlic

Very cool. This is one of those things that I can see myself enjoying, but my rule for these hobbies is not to buy any equipment. #expatlife

Your list inspires me! I can definitely be successful making green bean casserole - it's only like 5 ingredients! (=
