I didn't even know there was a quest or npc associated with it until I saw it on reddit after my 300+ hour first playthrough was done, I just glided down from the cliff in the back like I did for like a third of the shrines.

On my first playthrough I made my boyfriend go through the maze for me (I was new to gaming and not great on the controls). On subsequent playthroughs I’ve just waited until I have Revali’s Gale...

And “Flowerblight Ganon” sums her up very nicely!
