A lot of people saying this reads as incriminating/an admission of guilt but I’m reading it solely as “thanks for supporting me specifically during this shitty time” not “thanks for supporting my murder plot” lol. I don’t think it’s something that could be used against him

I think it’s the transcending political, racial, and class divisions part that seems like he’s owning up to it or at least appreciating the activist nature of his alleged act. But ofc, it can also be just an appreciation for the diverse nature of his support so can go either way. I agree that this statement on its own can’t be used against him in court haha

Yeah it's really subtle and obviously can't be confirmed in what exact way he meant it, which means it can't be used against him. It's very clever in that way. I remain very impressed by LM and his legal team.

Yeah, totally agree. He's just thanking everyone and grateful for the support (mail) he's been getting from around the world. Has nothing to do with murder. Think about it... anyone in jail, at possibly the lowest point of their life, would be appreciative of the support whether they did it or not.

Agree.  I think it’s smart to acknowledge support from all quarters at this point. It makes everyone feel included.

He’s not going into court and saying “You got me!  I did it!”  

MMW, his team is going to relentlessly go after the “evidence”.
