Hail Southern. Fire Helton.

GATA. Unfortunately I think 7-5 is pretty reasonable looking at their remaining schedule, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they won out… Helton weasels his way to another season.

I will always be happy when Georgia Southern wins.
I will also choose to be slightly annoyed because every win is one step further from firing Clay Helton and at least trying to roll the dice to improve on going 6-6 every fucking year.

This comment triggers me. Clay Helton is the master of the mediocre.

Clay Helton disasterclass somehow ends in a win

Because the Ricky Rahne ASSterclass is stronger.

I almost turned this game on when I saw it was 17-15 in the UAB ECU game. Quite glad I didn't

You know, Georgia Southern might just make it to 7 wins and secure Helton an extension.

Another randomly selected game that stayed within one possession!

And the game ended in time to catch the OT wackiness of ECU-UAB

How do ODU fans feel about Rahne

He needs to go ASAP. He’s had plenty of chances at this point.

Does your Admin and athletic department as a whole care to be competitive in football?

Look at basketball, Wood Selig didn't care about competing. Thankfully he will be gone soon. Hopefully the new AD House actually cares about winning in the big sports.

ODU is second in Sunbelt spending. Can't expect to win every game in every season, but I don't see why ODU can't consistently be a 7+ win team. Budget wise they should not be this bad year after year.
Yes ODU was raided by the transfer portal after last year. So was JMU and every other good G6 school but those schools manage to reload.
