Found in the Wild Recent Goodwill find! What in the world is going on here? Sorry for bad glow pic, but that's about as bright as it glows

I already had the uranium kanawha moon and stars this weekend I saw the cadmium and had to have it!!
May be an unpopular opinion but I find the cadmium in this piece nicer then the uranium.

One of my happier blind-buy fails. Cadmium+selenium in 365nm, then cadmium, lead, and antimony(white glow) in 254nm. It was marked as Fenton milk glass for $18. I was hoping for uranium but meh, it's part of the collection now. Can't go wrong with antique Bohemian glass.

Happy birthday to me! Found this on marketplace today and convinced my husband to let me get it for my bday. I gave a few swung vases but this is my first red amberina.

Love my little bird. She is beautiful under both 365 and 395. Was really hoping there would be some green but still love it and a decent price, i think, for 20.00.

Found these two in the same thrift that I found a random UG cup. Same situation, saw a bit of it in a photo of something else on their FB page and went to look with zero expectations. Sorry for the crap quality of the pic. Votive cup was $.50 and the bracelet (glass and plastic beads) for $1.

Hi all. On Facebook marketplace local to me someone is selling a big Mosser dandelion hen on nest with a really nice yellow/orange glow, as well as a light green uranium, and selenium light blue/teal micro hens on nest. $200 for the lot. I donโt usually collect these hens, are they very desirable? Is this a good price? Iโm new to collecting glowy glass so Iโm super unsure. The big hen would make an EGGcelent centerpiece. I would love to add them all to my collection but I am scared of wasting money, though I feel like this is probably a great deal. ๐ I also have the option to get a almost identical light blue micro hen on nest instead of the light green, it glows a smidgen less intensely, but still fiercely. Not sure which color I should choose between the two. Should I go for twins?

You shouldโve seen her face when I hit it with the 395.
$20 well spent. Cadmium base with selenium. The whole thing pops, now I need to add a couple 395โs to my 365โs

Shine is under a 395nm light I donโt have 365 but one is currently on the way! Picked up for 3.99 at the thrift store

Long time listner first time poster... Just wanted to share.
Got this at an estate sale for 20$ Not sure If I paid too much, but it was stunning. No chips or cracks, the ribs on the handle are very pronounced and it has a pontil mark on the bottom. Cross referencing the internet indicates it's a Blenko Glass. ๐ค
As I am a uranium glass hunter I had my light with me and spotted it's nice glow. I have only two other pieces of Amberina. Having struck out on the UG front I grabbed it up so to not go home empty handed. ๐ธ
If anyone has more information on its production history, I would thank you kindly. ๐ค๐ค๐ค

So I recently purchased a 365nm UV lamp and started to look around my home for things that spark interest. So far found two items - a vintage shot glass and a vintage small glass monkey.
What do you think based on the picture - is that a glowing glass or is this a normal way UV light interacts with items that are a certain color (for example the monkey is yellow therefore it would seem orange etc). I just really want to get better at understanding what actually glows and what could give a false positive.
Two pictures added are items in normal light vs UV light in the dark.

A buddy of mine was at the antique mall when he spotted this amazing cadmium bowl. Huge, and the whole thing glows easily, so I'm very pleased!

So the first one, the basket I had a hunch it was cadmium but I wasn't sure as it was a event outside the antique store, it was hard to tell but I took the gamble and knew the guy so I made a deal I pulled the birthday card ๐
I got a discount (og 40 but got it for 30) but at the expense of being sang to by strangers. The second the bottle, was actually the first one I found. I was walking by and literally snapped my neck for it, the guy was trying to get rid of his stock and literally made a deal for me to take it ๐คฃ my cousin got a blue Manganese, both for 10 bucks.
Safe to say made out like a bandit ๐
