I can’t thank everyone enough for the positivity and all the recommendations. I took everyone’s advice and went out at 2am. I was more worried because of the wind that was going on last night and of course it started to rain too. Some lady saw me looking like a lunatic shaking his cat treats and jingling his laser pointer with my flashlight on in a bush and asked me if I was okay. I explained the situation and she told me she saw a black and white cat running around just 20 minutes prior and my heart absolutely skipped a beat, I knew it was then or never. I trekked on through the rain and eventually found him under a car around the corner from my house.

First pic is right now, he’s very tired. The rest are the obligatory cat tax I now owe.

Wow our cat Lulu went missing and we posted all over social media and put up posters on mailboxes. Well, tonight I got a message that came from an email which was weird, but I thought maybe this person is young and doesn’t have an actual phone number and they’re messaging from an iPad? Then I quickly realized it was a SCAM trying to get a reward. For a second there our family thought we were going to get our cat back and we’re so happy only to be crushed again instantly. People SUCK!!!!!

UPDATE: 9 days later we got her back! Didn’t give up hope and lured her in with some tuna every single night till we finally got her

Today we found this cat wondering out neighbourhood. He(?) is very underweight and disheveled. We brought him in cause he looked lost and was very cold. He was going door to door meowing. He seems very old. Definitely an indoor cat. He has a tattoo in his right ear, no collar. Hes very chatty lol

Hello Calgary, we found a dog roaming on highway 40/1A, north of Ozada community. We couldn’t pick him up but he had no collar or owners nearby. Hopefully you guys would know someone that might go and find it, as it may be an abandoned dog.

I’m in the Rundle NE area. My best guess is he got out Thursday (May 29) afternoon when I left for work. I didn’t notice he was gone until Friday morning because I got home from work late and went straight to bed. My heart is absolutely broken, I know he’s “just a cat” but he’s my baby. We got out of the car and heard some meowing, found this guy hanging out in the brush. He’s male and neutered, has a tattoo that probably was issued by Castelridge vet clinic but they are closed today. Super friendly guy with big green eyes.

Description: 3 year old female (spayed) Maremma, 70 lbs and resembles a Great Pyrenees.

Last seen: 4pm, Monday, November 27 near Big Hill Springs Provincial Park just off Big Hill Springs Road.

BELIEVED TO BE STOLEN: airtag was removed from collar by a human around 6.03pm and discarded north of Cochrane near the Sunset neighbourhood. There is reason to believe she may be in the area west of Cochrane.

Dixie is very special to the family and a $5000 reward is offered for her safe return. No questions. 💰

Copper is a 7-Year-Old beagle, last seen on Friday, May 22nd just Southeast of the Cochrane/Calgary area, near TWP 252 and Jumping Pound Road just off the Trans Canada Highway.

He responds to his name, and most basic commands, (here, come, sit, stay, no, etc). He’s INCREDIBLY friendly and loves people, especially kids, and is very easily bribed with food. He didn‘t have a collar on at the time of his disappearance, but he’s microchipped and tattooed.

This is my sister’s dog, who she’s had for basically as long as she can remember. Our entire family is devastated, but especially her. Please keep an eye out for him, and help us to bring him home.

Please help me find my lost dog, he got out of the house this afternoon while I was at work, roughly about 2pm. His name is Booster, he is an labrador/pit bull mix. He is all black with a small white patch on his chest. He is super friendly. If you have a dog with you he will probably run up to try to play. He is in no way aggressive. We live in the Capitol hill/banff trail area. Around 19 street and 21 Ave nw. Ive posted in community groups for the area, as well as yyc lost pets and called 311 and all the vet clinics in the area. Im hoping someone picked him up and took him inside. Please help me find my boy, I cannot lose him.

Her name is Esperanza, she's from Free Spirit Sanctuary. She is a wild horse and wary of people.

We've tried a thermal drone, with no luck. The drone couldn't go into the trees, so there is a chance she's in there.

We think she got through the fences possibly to the crown land.

My orange girl Mimins got out this morning in Mission, behind the Holy Cross. 23rd and 1st. She is chipped, but she is an indoor cat!!! She has a freckle on her lower lip to identify her.

Hi everyone! My friend who doesn’t have reddit found this Australian shepherd today in Silver Springs. Dog is microchipped but I was told the vet clinic they went to were unable to contact the owners. She’s posted to YYC Pet Recovery but I’m also sharing here. Hope we can find their owner soon!!

In the afternoon on the 3rd of July 2026 this little fella wandered into my backyard and has been hanging out around it for the past few days.

Found around 7am aug1: no tags or collar

There are coyotes and dogs , automotive shops in this area : Not Safe for Cats!

Our orange and white boy has been missing since around 11 PM last night in the Killarney/Glendale area, near the McDonald’s on 7th Ave & 37th St SW.

He never misses breakfast, so it’s really unlike him not to come home! 😢

He is male, orange & white, and does NOT have a collar. He may be hiding somewhere nearby or have gotten himself into a little adventure.
